I actually have a theory on this game which incorporates all of the games in a time line it starts with castle crashers where you first meet the aliens who are scouting the earth then alien hominid which the aliens invading earth battleblock theater which has the hat which was used to protect the earth from the bear but only someone of great importance could weld it yadda yadda yadda hatty shoots the star bear which starts the beginning of pit people

Here's mine: 1. Alien Hominid, you can see crashed spaceships in the desert in castle crashers 2. Battleblock Theater, also explains why Hatty is playable in CC 3. Castle Crashers, I'd say the pirate ships part of Castle Crashers is when Pit People started 4. Pit people, the bear at the end uses Hatty as a weapon.

Narrator: Oh i get it - it all makes sense now! Me: How dare you hint at/reference the next game?

why not just watch the original thing without the laughter because it's just annoying, it's just like having a laugh track on

What if battle block theater is the prequel to pit people? The plot of that game is that a giant space bear smashes into earth and at the end of battle block we see a giant bear get blasted by a laser. That may have been why the bear crashed into earth. Also, the bear had emerald blood and what do we see and collect throughout battle block ? Emeralds. And the laser was green so yea.
