Nate Jester 'Perfect' Faro Shuffle Card Trick

Ойын-сауық

This is one of my favorite things to do with a perfect faro shuffle. It involves a 52 card deck and cutting the cards exactly at 26 each time. Check out my video blog post if you want to learn the Secret To Learning The Faro Shuffle.

    I'm getting a ton of great comments. Thank you! I do want to address some of the skeptics. :) The video is not in reverse. I did speed up a few slow spots to keep it quick, but it's 100% legit. No other edits. If you think about it, it's not possible in reverse. Literally would be more amazing. My mind would be blown. 💥 lol😂 Here’s a link to the full performance as taught by the master and creator, Paul Gertner I tried posting a link, but KZread doesn't allow links in comments. SO... Please search my channel for "Marked Unshuffled Card Trick by Magician, Nate Jester" and you'll see the FULL UNCUT PERFORMANCE WITH A LIVE AUDIENCE! Thank you for your likes, comments and subscribes. I appreciate you guys!!!

    @@SeattleMagician You write the words first on a unshuffled deck, then you do your first pharaoh shuffle, then you start recording adding that little mark in the beginning, so it seems like you wrote all those lines, then the first pharaoh shuffle is actually the second shuffle, three shuffles' later back to an unshuffled deck... so I'm I right?

  • @bigmeatswangin5837

    @bigmeatswangin5837

    No he really isnt. The cards are arranged beforehand and carefully realigned as he "unshuffles" the deck. Every truly shuffled deck of cards is a unique shuffle. That is a mathematical fact, as the possible number of ways to order a pack of cards is 8x10^67. For reference, there are about 2.4x10^67 atoms in the Milky Way Galaxy. Therefore, its statistically impossible this deck was a unique shuffle before or after he began moving cards.

He has a black belt in Muay tai (I think? forget the marshall arts name), can do every trick in the book completely looking natural including the faro shuffle (doing it in a standard riffle shuffle style), and confusing even the best card magician at the time Dai Vernon. Now all this while being completely blind. Truly an inspiration.

Maybe if it went from “unshuffled” to completely scrambled you’d have a point, but the “unshuffled” split but was still legible, then split more but still spelt “unshuffled”, then scrambled but still together. No matter how you look at it, this would be impossible for any random person to be able to do without tons of practice.
