People want to say Ngannou “beat the UFC”, but if you want to truly point out someone who beat the UFC it was Nate. He won ultimate fighter, got under promoted, fined, suspended, called out ufc bs like cm punk and underpaying him, became a cult hero which led to him becoming a star, took out Dana’s golden boy Conor and turned that into his own company and making his own moves without working for anybody. Truly did everything his way without having to just jump ship in the middle of his mma career like Ngannou.

  • @stevekno164

Nate definitely beat the system but Ngannou made more money from boxing alone than Nate and Nick made in their entire life combined. But, to your point, Nate is still a relevant fighter while Ngannou is forgotten. And to be real honest, I would much rather just take the $50M pay day that Ngannou got for his boxing matches and never fight again. Health is wealth my friends. And if you can make quick and lots of money with least amount of fights, that’s a win in my books.

@@stevekno164 Ngannou made more money but he also ruined his legacy. He could have been part of the greatest heavyweight fight of all time, with the highest paid contract in ufc heavyweight history. He decided he’d rather leave the ufc and and all its fans that made him marketable to go lose in boxing and get knocked instead of just accepting a legacy fight against Jones which would have made him money in the long run anyways. At least Nate will be remembered for his fame and glory in the octagon, not when he left to go box.

Interview during workout is cool, reminds me of Nick with his phone interview where everyone hears a bong and nunchucks in the background lol. Cool to see another millionaire who refuses to buy a KZread subscription.

@ramonbriones4487 I don't think he took Jake serious, plus he looked pretty good, he was putting it on Jake for a few rounds up until he started playing around.

@@infantrymusic6371 there was a point in the fight where you just realized Jake couldnt hurt him, even though he caught him in the 8th with a check hook or something. Its difficult for the diaz to box i feel like because they depend on that pain from their knuckles bouncing off their opponents face, stinging them
