Natchez, Mississippi Food Tour! | Can't Miss Restaurants! | The Little Easy | Natchez Brewing

We are back in Natchez, Mississippi for a little bit history and a whole lotta' of southern food and culture! This city has no shortage of great restaurants and bars, so we fit in as many tasty treats as possible in one epic day of food-hopping. We tried a classic southern/Caribbean fusion dish at the The Little Easy, craft beers & Detroit-style pizza at Natchez Brewing Company, a local favorite drive-in serving the city's favorite shakes since 1960, and so much more. Oh yea, we also saw a bear. Yep, there is something for everyone in Natchez. Feast on, y'all! #Natchez #natchezmississippi #mississippi

Who are we?
Welcome to MiCaleb Goes West! We are Caleb and Michelle West, and we have a full blown case of wanderlust. After meeting in the “most magical” of places in 2009 and getting married a year later, we have dedicated as much of our lives as possible to traveling the world, finding adventures, hanging out with amazing people, and eating and drinking everything in our path. We may not be professional KZreadrs, but we are professional life-lovers. Nothing gives us a natural high like experiencing something new, and we aim to have fun in everything that we do. We would love to share our adventures with you. Welcome aboard!

@@micalebgoeswest Try County Pie in Trace Town shopping center for Pizza and other pasta dishes. Red Top Seafood, also in Trace Town, 55 Sgt. Prentiss Drive, for seafood, Poboys, burgers, and other sandwiches. Same owners as Roux 61 Seafood Grill on Hwy 61 a few miles south of Natchez. Pig Out Inn Barbeque at 116 South Canal St. Fat Mama's Tamales at 303 South Canal St. Biscuits and Blues at 315 Main St. Planet Thailand Restaurant at 116 North Commerce St. for Sushi and Asian food. There are about 20 more. Some I have tried, and some I have not tried because they are too new. You may have already tried some of these yourselves. Too many to list.

@NosserJJN2 thank you so much! This is a great list! We have done a few of these: Far Mama’s (we love it), Roux 61 (I’m still full from it), and County Pie (outstanding pizza), but you listed a lot of new ones we need to try. We are back that way in the summer and will keep the food tour going. We really appreciate you taking the time to share these restaurants!

Natchez definitely has its share of beautiful, historic buildings. They could probably use a city-sponsored DIY guy such as yourself 😉

@@micalebgoeswest But that's ok! I had a very dear friend who was from Yonkers, New York and while we would tease her about being a Damn Yankee, we would also congratulate her for wising up and moving "home".

That exactly how my family (this is Caleb) treats Michelle. Michelle is from upstate NY and has married into a southern family so we all get a good kick out of it. It’s fun for us both to learn about our roots, and now Michelle LOVES Natchez

It’s fusion food so it has a mixture of British, Southern, and other foods. They have a lot of items that are fresh takes on southern classics
