I personally agree with you that this is was a really surprising and fun palette. Like this is what I want to see from makeup artist -owned brands where no one asked for it but no one knew that one could have so much fun with a such a color story. This is the unexpected and dare I say, the delight that I like having with makeup. I think it just shows Natasha's prowess in the field - she knows what she is doing and she is not afraid to take risks. Like is this palette perfect for me? No! But do I love it? Yes! This palette is for makeup lovers who have other palettes to pair this with or create some really interesting look with just this palette - kinda like a fun challenge. And I love that!! Seriously my respect for Natasha Denona had sky rocketed so much based on this palette 🙌🙌🙌

I think approach to ND shadows needs to be able to rethink how to apply different shades and textures. Your use of the lightest chrome shade and a little darker shade looked a bit like a moving painted character. The darker shade was perfect too. It takes a creative approach to differing types of shimmers. Looks like you’ve got some stunning reflective shades in this palette. Thanks for your unique and thorough review and looks. 🙏

Being a girl who is obsessed with silvers and greys, this is my palette. I know it may seem one note but I don’t care because it’s so beautiful on the eye and there are so many soft looks you can do with this. I’m so happy to have this and I love the night sky packaging. It’s really beautiful in person. Uggh I’m so happy to use this for outings and parties. It’s classic and futuristic at the same time. Wonderful review and demos as usual! 🤍🩶🖤

WOWZA! These colors are STUNNING on you! As for me, I’m not that skilled with eyeshadow and can’t see putting that kind of $ into a look I MIGHT wear 2 times a year. Definitely gorgeous though.

"I'm gonna go into snirt" made me giggle every time :) Thanks so much for this review Sofia! I initially discounted this one as it looked super same-y and like it would only work for dramatic "goth" looks which aren't my thing; but it looks like you can do a ton of really lovely light and bright looks. I wear a red lip pretty much every day and I think this palette would make a great compliment to my huge collection of red lipsticks!

Pretty looks. Excellent review. Your review and Allie Glines were my favorite! Not everyone comprehends color theory, depth of color and experimentation, which I think both of you do. The palette has both dimension in their color range as well as finish! This is a no brainer lol. I find it very interesting that Natasha placed deep indigo and navy shades in the palettes rather than a singular shade of matte black. Not only does it force her consumer to learn and expand one’s knowledge of color theory in terms of experimental and professional make-up, it’s just *Fun* to play! Her make-up brand reads as extremely well-read in technical aspects of make-up, formulations and color stories so I am assuming when I say she wants her consumer to be as well versed and expansive with her product line. It’s like a tongue in cheek verbal non-verbal dialogue with her consumers. Almost a giggle and hosting to explore. It takes more time in garnering a committed consumer market in this way, but it is earnest and commendable, and over time will garner the utmost respect from her audience and make-up professional works, and I respect that. The icing on the cake was you being the *Only* reviewer to reference Zenon: 21st Century Girl! 🥹☺️ I got so giddy when you referenced it because I haven’t found where or if Natasha informed if that was the reference base for the collection and palette or not but I would put a few pieces of silver on it lol. Thanks for your lovely review!!

This is the best looks that I have seen with this pallet . You did an amazing job with the looks by far my favorite I have seen and wareable unlike some I have seen .

@@nykka3 Yes that was exactly my thoughts. It's also those people that made the super harsh looks giving the pallet a bad review. I think she showed it in an amazing way and really you can do alot with the pallet on its own and using it as a companion pallet.

I’m excited for a cool toned palette. Also, I loved your reaction about mid-video when you put on the platinum shiny shade on the inner half of the eye. It’s nice to see someone excited about the makeup.

Sofia you made me want this! I don’t think greys look good on me but silvers do. This seems so silvery and icy not dull and grey. I might take the plunge. Some of the names are winter snow formations. I’m sure “snow bow” is pronounced like rainbow and is the colourful sparkle of colours that form in a frosty sky. “Grue” means to shiver or shudder. It’s also a fictional creature from gaming. I think it is a pretty editorial palette. I think it is a little too blue leaning for me. It has a sixties mod vibe with sci-fi bent. It can go glam or grunge or Film Noire. You managed to do something quite lovely here.

LOVE THIS COLOR STORY

I think this palette will have limited appeal, but is kind of fun. My understanding is she didn't do a matte black because the mini has one and she wanted different colors (debatable about whether that's a good or a bad thing, but feels like the only reason you'd need both palettes). I do think aesthetically this might have been better served layout wise by having the "colored" shadows placed all in one row to emphasize the limited diversity, possibly with a single multi chrome or rich purple meant to give a galaxy vibe as a replacement for one of the "that's too close" shades without losing the cool-toned night sky aesthetic. It's probably also worth noting that I recall ND palettes having removable pans... so if you're a collector of her palettes you could take a third of the shades and import them into other palettes missing that white, black or silver you wish they had, and also bring some more color into this palette. It would probably pair well with the mini triochrome for example if you wanted to add depth to the blue color story.

I love cool tones but this is too greyscale for me. I prefer something with a bit more variation, wish she had sprinkled in some cool toned pinks/mauves/taupes/blues/purples/greens etc

This palette took me right back to the early-mid 1960’s when it was all about sculpted/graphic eye looks a la Peggy Moffitt, Jean Shrimpton, and, of course, Twiggy. I look at this palette and can see so many possibilities. I would have loved having this palette when I was a teen. Come to think of it, I’m an octogenarian and love having this palette now. Such fun!

I have been waiting for you to review Minnie’s palette! She was the muse for this palette, and I will not be convinced otherwise. 😻 I was back and forth on this palette until I saw some of your looks on Instagram. 😍 It then went on my list immediately! I can’t wait to do a palette mash up with it and Glam. I will use more of the mattes from Glam and add in these new, more sparkly metallics and make my own updated Glam! (The Glam shimmers seem so old fashioned now) I love, love, love that you always make “wearable” looks in addition to dramatic looks. Your Zoom meeting look is exactly what I envision doing daily with this palette. In fact, if you told me you made this look with a luxury palette like the Dior or Chanel holiday palettes, I’d believe you. I am absolutely in love with the looks you made.

If its the same as the Rush song Cygnus x-1, it is a constellation and pronounced "Cig-nus" with a short sounding i.

She upped the price for them then gave everyone a 15% off code it seems like . I paid 58$ for the past few midi pallets with the 15% off. I bought this for the cool toned shimmers and I can use them with other mattes or make my own perfect cool toned pallet if I want. I do think their is too many light shades that look almost the same but I went in knowing it . I think it's super pretty though and worth it . I used the pink shimmer with some matte mauves yesterday and it was beautiful. This looks amazing on u. Love your intro 😂

I thought that there were too many whitish shades as well. I think that ND could have done more as far as shade variation with this one. I'm really struggling with buying this Palette - I love the Blacks and the Grey/deeper Silver but I'm wondering how much use I will get out of it, since I probably won't use 6 of those shades.

I have been all over the place with this one. I loved the pr images and then it looked like the leak that I didn't like😂 But you are 100% right her formula is incredible and nobody does monochromatic like ND

Back in the eighties ( I know, sssooo long ago) I would frequently see this French look with a very dark eye and a red lip. It was stunning and I always wanted to try it but as a poor student couldn’t afford a good eyeshadow palette to make it work.

The mini is what made me hope for the larger palette!!😂

This looks very similar as the Dior backstage palette. Only that one has more colours than just grey and silver to use

I think if like u said a matte black and maybe a lavender and maybe a green would help give it a bit of a pop but I’m still excited to get this on bc I’m a cool tone girly and like grey eye shadow

People are calling this palette boring, monochromatic and shades of gray, when that is exactly what I feel about the "nude" brown palettes.

Snirt is a combo of "snow" and "dirt". Who knew? I'm Light like you, but I have an olive undertone. What do you think? Can I wear this? I love these ND palettes, but every other reviewer did dark, dramatic looks, that I would maybe wear once. And never again. But I could wear Look 1. I always wear a wing and shadow liner, so that's really nice! I love Look 2 as well. With those deeper colors and a heavy hand, I'd look like Joan Jett after a week with no sleep and a less cool haircut. So, what do you recommend? Should I take the plunge on this? 20% off tomorrow. How does it compare to the new Dior backstage silver essentials?

Natasha doesn’t put black powder shade in her palettes so it doesn’t spread around. This is why no black in palette other than a cream to powder in Biba. I have her blackest matte black which comes separately with a secure case and mirror. She also makes a metallic black shade. 🥂

I think you missed showing the shade Cygnus in your swatches in the beginning :P

I love looking at the palette and the colors, very very beautiful. But I look like a corpse in grays and blacks, definitely not for me who has LM-M skin with warm undertones. Even a lot of colors from glam palette (grey-ish shades) were ashy and cool on me.

It looks blue/gray. I kind of like that.

Not for me, I’m not very cool tones and a cold gray doesn’t look good on me, but I am surprised to see how it looks good near your brown eyes. Anyway, I’m not a big fan of big palettes in general, I prefer quads or little palettes like Tartelette in Bloom that I understood you didn’t like. I also have a tendency to buy again and again always the same range of colors. I think that this palette is basically the opposite of I Need A Nude Palette, except that the finishes seem as good. One is easy, the other one is not, one is for sure widely applauded, the other one is less obvious for everyone, one is light and airy, the other one is darker and more mysterious. Both seem gorgeous. But as much as I Need A Nude Palette is exactly what I would use, I prefer a mini that I have by ND because I am much more drawn to small palettes. And I am not a beauty guru, so no obligation to have a wide inventory.

The matte black is already in the mini Xenon and is not needed in this one too.

From the eyes of a makeup brand, they would probably view that as redundant, and would probably assume that people interested in the gray-toned midi would already own the gray-toned mini. thanks so much for all you do!
