Can we all take a moment and realize how much work this had to take Patty and she’s almost ready for baby Evelyn to arrive! For you to make, search, swatch, investigate the shade names and edit is so helpful! Also, a great comparison video! I was excited when I saw the picture and I’m even more excited now! I really love the shades in the original big gold palette that (hopefully) will be the same formula! I didn’t pick up the bronze eyeshadow palette but this one I’m definitely going to get and the gloss I’m a sucker for glitter ✨ gloss! Thank you so much Patty ☺️ have a great night!

I love the comeback/refresh of the old palette! I’ve been waiting for years for her to do this to the old blue/purple & green/brown large palettes. I would love a refresh in midi size of those two!

I completely agree ! ❤🎉😅 but she did release metropolis; which was a midi size with 28 shades … but it was LE & costed the same as her larger palettes $129 … if anyone wants the larger 28 pan palettes I’d wait for a good sale from ND online 😅 that’s how I got the 28 green brown palette ❤

Those original palettes 😍 that would be phenomenal!

What made the original Gold palette unique to me was the duo chrome golden colours, the teal, golden green, mustard, not just gold-gold. It feels like she took the soul out of the Gold palette and left us with a typical neutral brown-gold palette for everyday.

so many influencers have asked for this midi release, and i love gold so this is an anticipated release for me. kelly gooch looked at patents from brands to predict releases and saw golden for natasha denona so it was speculated for this to happen. I have been passing on eye shadow palettes waiting for the gold palette release. i'm SO excited. it looks beautiful!

I know I don’t need it, but I do like that at least 1/3 of it is way more neutral than the original Gold palette. And also those new shades are in her newer shimmer and metallic formulas, which I love. And I do like the size! Someone said there was one other repeat - Flesh - from the Mini Bronze and the Star palettes.

Excited to see you cover this even though I don't need any more eyeshadow lol. ❤❤❤ hope pregnancy is going well for you!!

I bought my Gold palette last year from the Natasha Denona website. I had it set up to get a notice whenever certain palettes came back in stock. I got the email notice and I ordered the palette. No drama or fuss. 😂 I haven’t heard anyone else refer to this restock but I have the palette on my vanity and I use it at least once a week so I know it wasn’t my imagination 🤣

It isn't your imagination! 😅 I remember that restock, i received the same email but couldn't afford it then, because i had recently purchased Metropolis in a flash restock. I'm always expecting to receive the same email, I asked to get a notice of restock before the palette was taken away from the website, just hope it comes back sometime 🥲

I think this new palette looks a little one-note and monochrome. It was those variations in color with the green-gold shimmers and the teals that made the old Gold special. And some of the shades just seem kind of redundant which I find to be a problem in a few of her palettes, specifically Bronze.

Yes the story of ND. I feel my dream palette was the only one worth having 15 shades. Why does she do that? Everyone likes variety. It’s like she is saving up colours to release more palettes. Very soon I’m going to give up on her and term to indie

On the other hand it looks like a perfect palette for me as someone who never wears color eyeshadow. All those greens and blues were the reason I didn’t want to buy the old gold palette tho I really wanted to have the golden colors in them :)

100% agree. I never use I Need a Nude, and this reminds me of it but in gold lol. There's one good shimmer/metallic and not much else

This looks lovely but I have and enjoy the UD Naked Honey. I don't think this is a straight-up dupe but the color stories do seem similar enough that I wouldn't use both.

I was excited when I first saw the palette but more I learn about it more unsure I am. I do have the original Golden palette and love it, except I always thought the amount of midtone browns was unnecessary, they are too similar....they kept all of them, except the interesting, yellowy one....and of course no cool teal...and only 6 new shades?... I'll think about it😊

I personally think by this way she can have people buy two midi palettes - yucca and golden in order to arrange a similar midi "gold" palette. You do get similar yellowish shades in Yucca. They earn more money.

Wow - thank you so much for your sleuthing! 🥰I have the Gold palette so this was sooo helpful. Just going by the names and assuming they are the same, I think some of the other shades are repeats as well. Aura is in the 10-pan Original palette and Flesh is in the Star and the Mini Bronze palettes.

Log, Oro and Sand Stone are in the baby gold palette from the holidays.... love the baby but it's small and was hoping she'd come out with a MIDI in Gold! I like the fact that it seems "gold" but not a super yellow gold palette. It seems fairly neutral with beige shades. The brown and beige shades go well with the trend towards "Chestnut" and "Latte" looks with a bit of shimmer to add in. I was thinking on Sunday it's been forever since she put out a new palette, then realized not really "forever" but I'd love to see a new palette. Nice colors for summer (gold beachy looks). Drink a lot and hope you get to squeeze a video out before your beautiful daughter comes!

I am having a cool toned moment but with that said I am blonde with blue eyes and these colors are flattering on my tone. I love how this palette is in complete contrast to another of my favorite ND palettes Xenon, they are like ying and yang I love it and will be purchasing it for sure, I can not wait for you to receive it and swatch it for us! I bought Alter Ego's dupe for the gold palette as the Natasha Denona's gold palette was not available and I am really happy with it.

I don't have the Gold Palette, so I will definitely buy this one! It looks beautiful (and, of course I will use your code 😉). Now that you compared and made swatches of the repeat shades, it gave me a Bronze palette vibe 🤔. Sad they didn't include the teal blue colors from the Gold Palette, love that kind of colors.

I’m considering it since my gold palette is so old. It still looks and performs great but it is several yrs old. I still love using it.

ND brought back the gold palette temporarily around May of last year and since I missed out before, I snagged it up quick! I think it's interesting that many of the shades are similar to the larger Gold palette, but for me this is my ideal color story. I love the greens and teals in the Gold palette, but I feel like I don't gravitate towards them as much, except when I am in the mood for a pop of color. The Metropolis palette also had those green and teal type shades and I don't wear them as often as I do golds, champagne shades, and browns so for me, this midi version is on my 'Buy Now' list as soon as it releases!

I really wish she would bring out the original sized gold palette again, that imo should always be part of her collection because it's classic and will suit everyone and of course has the interesting teal shades.
