What do you use to prime your eyes?
I always use the Rare Beauty eyeshadow primer (shop-links.co/cgNXPDwjyHy) and I set that with a translucent powder.

I’ve tried this palette once so far. I created a full glam look with it. I don’t use primer or concealer on my lids. I had no problem with creasing, and the shadows lasted all night. Love this palette! Forgot to mention that I wet the shadows.
I think a bare lid would work better for cream shadows. Usually creams on top of powders or any cream product on top of a dried cream product doesn't work best. Usually cream shadows are applied alone on the lid because they already make a good eye primer on their own for powders to layer on top
I used it with a true eyeshadow primer, no setting powder, and had zero issues.
I am over 70 and had no problem with creasing or settling into texture. I did not use eye base or powder, just tiny bit of 😊. Loved them!!
I really like the look with this palette, Angela (even despite the creasing)!! I love mine. I just mix all the bronzers together as well as the blush, which works for my fair skin tone. Wish she would have made two versions of various depth to accommodate different skin tones. Loved how every time you showed your phone, your puppy girl is the background ❤
Your outtro with the dog is adorable - do more!!
love how close you zoomed in on the eye 💖
Your dog's face at the end when you said goodbye cracked me up. It had that look people give when they aren't sure if someone took the picture or not lol.
I’ve been watching you for a long time now and it just occurred to me that you remind me of Mel Thomson. She used to do amazing eye shadow looks just like you
Your dog is so adorable ❤❤❤
Hi Angela, thank you for doing this video, unprimed eye lids may help the eyeshadows to perform better ?, Angela I love your dog, i hope you show us her or him again, just adorable and beautiful. Love Katherine xoxo
This palette didn't grab me at all when it came out but I really like the 1st 2 of those face palettes. You still made it work though! ❤
The quality of the video is amazing! I can see all the details.... The colors seems to be really close to what it must be in reality! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much!!
Thank you! In general, there are not enough wear tests on KZread!
I think it is more meant for people who want to use their fingers and want a one and done. And it’s ok to mix/swirl your brush in the contours and blushes to get what you want. Maybe not for everyone but there is def a market for this type of palette. May not be perfect but I think it’s pretty and might fit the needs of people who want something more simple and on the go.

Oh I totally agree there is a market for this product, like I said at the end of the video
Thank you Angela for sharing
Super pretty look! And nice technique as well thanks a lot
I am even happier that I skipped out on this palette. My eyelids are one that will crease in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for showing us this so we all can save some money (if we don't like it, I know some people don't mind it)! Have a wonderful day!! Hi Shmoogala!!
Aww your dog is so cute!! And so beautiful. Much love Angela!! Yes wear them without anything on your lids.
Thank you for sharing! Even though I'm light, I do not like the bronzer/blushes in the palette and if there is any creasing, not chancing it.
That’s too bad about the eyeshadow. But even with being able to pop out the shadows and replace them, I don’t think this is for me. And is it just me or is Schmoogaly Bear the highlight of your video 😉 Such a sweet pup! 💝
Roo is so cute. Maybe do a light tap of translucent over the shadows after you are done and the spray with setting spray.? Some of the cream shadows now are made to have that done.
I use it on top of foundation and haven't had any creasing. I have hooded eyes too. Really enjoying the palette 😊
You do look beautiful 🙌🏼💜
Do you think the paint pot added to the creasing? You created a very nice look with the palette. I own so many palettes that I haven’t even used yet, so I’m going to skip this one. Thank you for the review! Btw your puppy is adorable!🐶

I really like this palette
Ohhhh your dog is SOOOOO CUTE!!!🐶🤩 Thank you for the update! I was thinking about it but with my very oily eyelids maybe I have to pass it.. so bumbed about it.. I want to have it!😆
Hello Angela, I really love and appreciate your review and opinion 😊. It is first time, where I don't want to buy the new palette of eyeshadows from Natasha Denona.
Thank you for all of the time you’ve spent trying to get this palette to work the best. I knew from seeing it the first time that it wasn’t for me. Like you said, it’s not a universal product and I can’t understand why she ( ND ) is marketing as one🤔. Anyway, your time and effort put into this is highly appreciated! 💕
The middle bronze shade is already really yellow looking on a lot of people. When you lined with under the eye, it had a yellowish undertone.
I heard of your channel through either a collaboration or one of the creators I watch may have mentioned you? I like you and your channel very much. I learn a lot and you seem very nice. I’m happy to subscribe 😊
Another gorgeous eye look than pattelle is stunning I would love it xx
I actually love the pink. I popped out the grey one and put in a pink duo chrome from the pastel palette, and replaced dreamy (too much sparkle fallout for me) and put in a matte shade from the I need a nude palette. So far, I’m enjoying have lots of favs together and will be perfect for travel
I received my palette yesterday and I love it! I have oily eyelids so I always use a proper eyeshadow primer. Mac’s Paint pots used to work really well for me. However usually 6 months in, it stops working and I think it might be because it gets old. Any shadows I applied on it would crease after 6 months. So now, my current favorite and holy grail is the Ulta Matte eyeshadow primer. I used it with this palette and nothing creased after a 12 hour day getting in and out of a hot car here in Texas. Ever since Make Up Just For Fun mentioned this primer as her holy grail I decided to get it since it’s very reasonably priced. I’m about to use up my first tube. You can bet I’ll be picking up another tube!!!
ABH eye primer. It's the best EVER!
In general eyeshadows in the creasing spot work the best using the matte combo...but this is suppose to be one and done eyeshadow application🤔🤔 Thank you for the review, cant wait to try this palette today👍
Awww 🐾💜🐾 great video thanks 🐾💜🌻✌🏻 beautiful pup
Blushes are so cute on you
This is absolutely unnecessary for me and as time goes on, it becomes unacceptable. It’s really expensive for such limited use, application issues, and skin tone limitations. It seems like a cobbled together hodgepodge of discarded colours and problematic formulae. Thank you for continuing to explore this Angela.
Well, I'm glad you did another video, listened to your subscribers and tried out new techniques......... However I'm a little bummed that you don't really care for it seeing as this is going to be my first Natasha palette 🤔😔 I get that some makeup won't work for everyone and some makeup works really well, but you are my favorite out of my top 3 influencers and I trust your opinion, so honestly I hope this palette works better for me then it apparently did for you! 😊 I LOVED you're ending by the way 🥰

I hope this palette works for you! I know you were excited about it!
I have a lot of creasing issues due to oily eyelids and hooded eyes. I have tried MAC paint pots as primer and they always make creasing worse for me. I rely on the fenty eye primer which stops the oil completely. I don't have this palette yet, but I wonder if a really good primer like that would work.
@angelaabright

It sounds like a primer like that would work better! I remember that primer being too drying on my eyelids 😝 tricky!!

@@angelaabrightyeah it's for oil slick eyelids hahaha. Also. Your dog is SO CUTE! Is she a shepherd or border Collie?
I'm bummed that it creased so fast. It looks so pretty.
Your baby is so cute!!! ❤
Omg I definitely have to get the Mac paint pot in painterly cause it’s like everyone uses it as an eye primer.
I love your dog so much
I don't use any base at all with cream shadows..your furbaby is soo gorgeous!!! I have 3 myself lol❤
Your dog is the most beautiful sweetest loveliest dog ever
I’ve given up using cream shadow in the crease, and only using it on the lid with powder in the crease. Inevitably, I get the eyeshadow lightning bolt in my crease if I don’t do it that way.
Nyx eyeshadow primer to block any natural oils on lid then paint pot then cream eyeshadow?
Do you normally set the Mac paint pot with a powder when using powder shadows?
I haven't seen anyone else have a creasing problem, used with bare lids and Milani eye primer. Maybe it is just the items you are choosing for primers.

unfortunately, all the shadows creased on me three different ways, three different days/eye looks including with my two favorite primers: Sigma primer (the pencil/stick type); Moira dupe of the MAC paint pots; bare lid. :(

I've also had creasing with and without a primer
Hey Ange 👋👋👋 that pink looked really pretty on you unless my tablet has a different tone in its pixels. But it’s REALLY pretty on you . Pink looks rubbish on me , so I don’t like either. Application is beautiful as always. 👏 it’s 40 degrees in Sydney today so not much make up for me today or it will melt . Yeah I’m not getting this palette 😢thanks tho .
Do the the MAC Paint Pots act like other eyeshadow primers, like Shadow Insurance or Primer Potion?
I'm seeing also patchy areas in outer corner in z first eye u did
Oh no … going to have to send it back …. Will happen to me
Ugh - that creasing is unacceptable for a higher-end line. Your makeup looked so pretty, it’s a shame it doesn’t wear that well. On a positive note, got my Whisper half lashes, and love them! That length is so perfect for my smaller features - they show up, but don’t overwhelm. I shared in my IG and Facebook about your lashes - hope to send some business your way! ❤. PS - your dog is so cute! ❤🐶
Pur it on bate skin😮
I just wore it to the barn, rode horses in the sun, sweated quite a lot. I had no creasing. It has been 5 hours + since I applied it. I used The Mac paint pot in Painterly under just like you did. I also didn't set it. So... I'm going to say this may or may not crease on you depending on probably how oily you are. I'm pretty dry but cream shadows usually crease on me and these did not crease on me. And I am older with plenty of wrinkles (39). So 🤷♀️🤷♀️

I knew this would work for someone!! I’m so glad they didn’t crease on you!
Interesting
That's too much work for that price point. Those eyeshadows should be working easy peasy without having to try so many bases. I want something that doesn't need so much effort when I travel.

They are. No tool.
I'm was really interested in this palette but I wish she would have given us a small rectangle of highlighter in between the bronzer and blush to really make it a full-face palette. I wouldn't want to reach for that lightest eyeshadow as a highlighter bc of all the glitter. Plus the creasing issues...I'm not sure why she didn't just use her normal shadow formula. Lastly, yeah...it's not universal, would have been nice to choose your blush and bronzer shade when ordering.
@oceanbird.

Yeah. Especially since all the pans are magnetic it would be so easy to offer different shades of bronzer and blush.

More doggie appearances in your videos please! 😂❤🐶
❤🎉 Well eyeshadows aside, how dare anyone try to create face palettes when we have HOURGLASS??!!! Hah!! 😅 Thanks for your videos Angela!! 🥰❤️⭐ Doggie !! 😍😍
A lot of cream eyeshadows crease on me. One thing that has worked for me is to put a layer of a matifying primer underneath the shadow. This worked for me with my charlotte tilbury cream eyeshadows, the primer I used was an old Maybeline Stay Matte primer (Im pretty sure it was meant for the face and don’t know if you can still get it, but that’s how I get those cream shadows to work for me without creasing). I’m guessing a tacky primer like the Millk hydrogrip eyeshadow primer might also work? I’ve never tried that one though, just a thought of somethign to try (if that's one you already have). I probably won't get this palette, cause if it creases on you it definately will on me and I can just use one of my nathasha palettes that I already have for a similar look. P.S - what a gorgeous pupper! Please include her/him in more videos!
@fourducksoriginal
3 ай бұрын
thank you for tips. Unfortunately, I tried it multiple ways just like Angela did in this video, and I had bad creasing with all the eye shades. I too thought a more tacky primer would work but so far the ones I tried didn't help. :( I'll experiment some more but in 2024 it shouldn't be this hard to make eyeshadow formulas work!
@fourducksoriginal

p.s. I used my fingers each time I did a look. The shadows wouldn't even pick up on brush even if I wanted them to.

@@fourducksoriginal yes I agree with you, especially when you’ve paid so much money for it. You shouldn’t have to use/buy additional products to get it to work, especially if it’s meant to be a one and done/quick and easy palette! X
I've also tried all those options too and had creasing every time 😢

I’m so confused about using the bronzer on the eyes it’s saids on the box that the bronzer/ contour and blushes are not to be used on eyes but in ND own videos she gives tips with instructions on using said bronzer / contour and blush’s so kinda not happy and left wondering about that? Does any one know the answer? I have reached out but have not heard back as of yet .
@kimt9797

It usually just has to do with some of the pigments used for the color. For some legal reasons they need to say they shouldn't be used on the eyes. Some pigments stain a bit for example. So it's basically use at your own risk.
I can’t play pickle ball with my tennis racket. If you don’t use it like intended are you really testing it? You can have you application preferences but that’s not for the palette.

@@angelaabright Natasha says one and done with fingers. She demos like that and not on top of concealer or paint pot. That’s the way she made it to be used at its best.

That’s what I’m thinking
Thanks for sharing. It should not be so difficult, it's expensive and should work properly. I don't think I want to spend my money on this pallette, to much effort nneeds to be done❗👍✔️❤️ Just watched Emily Noel, check out her You Tube video, she using the same palette.
I don’t think this formula would wear very well on my hooded eyes.
It looks like a fail to me. I really couldn't justify the price for the product. The look was really pretty, for the minutes it lasted 💐
The thing is, we shouldn't have to "figure out" how to use an eyeshadow palette. It should just apply without much effort. Otherwise it's not worth the time and purchase.
Ok. I have never tried anything from Natasha denoa before sadly right off the bat I’m not really impressed looking at that first pink shade u applied it was very dull looking I was expecting like wow in your face you know for the money I’d say no for that palette that’s just me
I seen Patty Alonzo and she put the shadows on with her fingers saying it was meant to be a one and done palette.😢 honestly I have every palette Natasha Denona and I think I'm going to pass on this one.
What's up with the creasing ? I don't want it to look beautiful to start with , then crap 3- 6 hours later. After all the whole point of the palette is to be a one and done, no fuss palette. It's not NO FUSS if it looks bad 5 hours later. Please try bare skin. Please. It's a damn shame that she didn't do a darker set of colors as well. I doubt it would have been any trouble at all, so why not ? Once you have the formula down, you would think making slightly darker shades would be an easy task.
You tried primer? Sounded like you put concealer on and set it. I feel like a genuine eye primer should work. If not, then definitely not worth it. Especially for the price. I also feel like she’s shrink-flating. Same price, less product 😂

Her face palettes are disappointing. The eyeshadow palettes are much better quality.
Awe I love your doggie! This pallette looks like too much work for me. I don't like the small sections of bronzer and contour, and I don't think the creamy eyeshadows will look good on mature eyelids. Thanks for saving me some $ Angela. Teresa is Dead wasn't impressed with this either.
Sorry but no. That palette doesn’t look good at all. Those eyeshadows look so patchy and dull. And that bronzer is not good colors at all. The colors look like the color of dirt, and not the color of bronzed skin. The “bronzer” looks really patchy too. But every time I see it, I think the skin looks dirty, like someone rubbed mud on the face lol. Plus, that palette can not suit all skin tones like she claims. Personally I think that whole palette is a flop. 😳😬 I do NOT mean that in any negative way towards you, because you always apply makeup beautifully. I just do not think that palette looks good at all 😳
