You explained my life in 5 lines. This is me. Parents should stop putting their children into a box. I suffer from chronic stress due to my stressful childhood with my Dad. I still can have that conversation with him but I know the day I do I will be free forever.

I have three oppositions to Uranus, including my Sun, and now in my late 20s', I am learning how to relax, chill, and simply follow a routine without running away from imaginary restrictions. It's not easy, but I am glad to have this aspect and learn the lessons coming from it. I wouldn't exchange it for an easier one. Taking the time to think before responding shows humility and really helps balance out the love for a discussion with the need to feel secure I keep coming back to this video, it's always refreshing to remember what important to work on with this aspect. This is SPOT ON! My dad was always unpredictable and I walked on eggshells. I got into fist fights from my teens through my early 40's. Being pushy and cocky in order to learn how to handle people who were pushy and cocky didn't work well, lol. I have Sun in Aries opposite Uranus retrograde in a Grand kite with Moon and Jupiter (retrograde) trine my natal Sun. And a second grand kite involving Sun opposite Uranus with Sun trine AC and Jupiter(r).

I am 31 years of age, married, and have kids but I am still in fear of my dad. My childhood has been so hard for me that i carried this to my adulthood and this makes me very bitter. I am always in confrontation with friends and like to argue. I now know there is something wrong with me. I decided to look into my birth chart and saw i have sun opposition to uranus and this explain it all. This video has softened my heart and said i am going to be okay.

No. That's because you are too weak to stand up to your dad. You need to let your dad know that you are not putting up with him and that if he doesn't accept that, then you going to have to disown him. That's what I would've been doing.

I have sun in leo(12th house) opposite uranus in aquarius(6th house) my challenge is to not be afraid of showing my authentic identity to new people I meet. I always have this deep urge to find like-minded people but I'm too antisocial to approach people. I might come across as a "know it all" but at heart my intention is just to share original ideas and inspire/get inspired.

Wow, this is the best explanation of this aspect i have ever found!! Man this is me to an absolute T! I have a lot of nervous energy and can honestly say I don't even think I am relaxed even when I'm asleep 😖😣. Now I can totally see where this comes from, this video has totally opened my eyes to how I've been behaving and the deeper reasons why. My Dad is an egotistical, narcissistic, misogynistic person who thinks he is always right no matter what. Since childhood I was heavily criticised or worse just completely discounted as capable of or being good at anything at all, I felt humiliated very often and all of this caused me to completely question my reality and distrust myself, I totally internalised the criticism and distain from my father and it became a monster of an inner critic to the point of total despondency and not wanting to be here. At the age of 32 I am only just now coming to realise how I felt on edge 24/7 and had to be constantly on my guard and defensive around my father, ready for another attack or to be made to feel stupid by his unquestionable superiority. I have taken this everywhere with me without truly realising why I felt the need to defend myself from being blindsided and taking people the wrong way. Also hating myself and criticising myself constantly so no one else could get there first as this is less painful has been a coping mechanism. I'm learning now it wasn't my fault and to leave peoples problems with them where they belong and that I am OK just as I am and don't need to change or be better all the time, I can just relax!! 😄🤣🤣 I also found this aspect causes me to make rash decisions to escape routine and authority to just run away last minute to be free , but free has often meant alone and pretty lonely. Oh waow I can't believe how accurate this is. My Leo sun (conjunct my descendant) is opposite my Capricorn Neptune and Uranus in the 12th house, which are themselves conjunct my Aquarius ascendant (and I'm also aqua moon)... I indeed always had to walk on eggshells around my dad who's very unpredictable and temperamental in his reactions and I think that conditioned me in a way I'm only learning to fully understand. I can also act like a harsh know-it-all when it comes to breaking down what I tend to see as limiting mental patterns and habits in others. That's probably in an attempt to free myself mentally by projecting my internal struggles, when I actually think I already realized that deep down I don't really need to rub all that in people's faces and try to change them "to help them" to secure my feeling of autonomy I guess. Anyway, thank you for this, it was incredibly spot on !

Always challenging myself- and others around me. Knowledge is power but I challenged everyone when I was 15. I was kicked out of the church. I began to live a life of recluse self exile

I found the bit about the Pomeranian, funny, as in Chinese astrology I was born in the year of the dog, and I often say to myself I am like a Jack Russel, which is kinda like the Pomeranian. My bestie and I have this but we make lotsa friends everywhere we go! What ostracisation? More often than not, we chose to exclude ourselves from groups which are too restrictive. E.g. I've tried to join many church groups but once they started telling me how I should be, I broke away. My friend has Aries sun opp Uranus so her outburst can be quite fiery and argumentative (mercury in Aries/Mars in Gemini). I've Taurus sun with mercury in Taurus/Mars in Pisces so my reactions tend towards silent stubbornness or cold rebuttals. In addition, I've Uranus in 5th house. Sounds a bit crazy but nobody has ever called me eccentric. They've commented that I'm a non-conformist. All in all, we don't rebel for the sake of rebellion. That's not true for the both of us. We can be very agreeable as long as it's within reasonable grounds.

I resent being compared to a Pomeranian! I am fierce! lolol. I have sun in Gemini conjunct chiron in the 2nd opposite Uranus in Sagittarius in the 8th. I am sensitive to challenges or criticism. When people criticize me I get really upset and lash out because I see criticism as an affront to who I am. I guess I want people to accept me for who I am . It's odd, because I think I don't care what people think but i guess I really do. I also have a square from Uranus to my Pisces moon, which really sucks!

I have Sun Leo at 10 degrees in the 12th house Oppose my Uranus Aquarius at 10 degrees in 6th house. So it is a 0 degree opposition with opposing signs and houses. Being a Sun Leo in 12th house I never understood who I was or was uncomfortable being myself around others, which manifested as nervous energy. My dad had an explosive temper when I was a child. Me and my siblings walked on eggshells around him. When he felt slighted or disrespected he became confrontational. Now, as an adult, when I feel disrespected I become confrontational. Not to mention, my dad is an Aquarius. My main problem was that my work environment (6th house) had a negative effect on my peace of mind (12th house) and my health (6th house). Over time, I came to realize that I need a unique work environment (Aquarius) that helped me express my creativity and spirituality (Leo/12th house). Now I am happy and not as stressed as I was before.

There is no projection in Squares; instead it's constant, grinding struggle that forces us to character build. Oppositions create greater extremes, but because of the projection part, they can remain unintegrated - a glaring blind spot. There's no blind spot with Squares lol. We know they're there. We can never escape them. If we can stop being so binary at the opposition level, however, we have the potential to attain full enlightenment around whatever the issue is by understand that two seemingly polar things can coexist.
