OMG spot on you just explained My whole fucking childhood !! I have this placement in the sign of Capricorn; I was in a dissociative mindset so many times while I growing up without realizing It. I found out my astrology birth time in 2020 and my spiritual journey began. My imagination was so in-depth that I lived in my own imaginary bubble (popped when I reminisced with my sisters telling me why don’t you remember) I did not realize how much I held down. I always did what my family and others wanted while i sacrificed my own feelings because confrontations. Also I have Uranus in Aquarius in this house as-well so. Thank you for this deep and insightful interpretation. My parents were both public figures and had little time for us kids. I remember seeing them as some kind of "small town royals" who were occupied caring for their "subjects" while we were left with nannies. They definitely had strong narcissistic traits which (though not malignant) still prevented me to develop a healthy sense of self. I was meant to mirror (and add to) their grandiosity, getting approval for my school results and looks, but not for who I was. In a way I felt like an orphan, and I am still learning to re-parent myself.

Wow, thank you for sharing… Neptune can definitely be associated with narcissism but I never specifically associated it with the house placement however after reading your story it makes complete sense. I’m so glad you are able to see through the delusion and learning to re-parent, heal and ground yourself. Much love! 💕

This is my placement, along with a stellium of planets in the 4th house; sun, Venus and mercury. I really related to the lack of feeling nurtured, seen and safe in my childhood. Both my parents are sensitive and my father struggled with addiction leading to his death. I am very aware of feeling to need build a safe space - a sanctuary like you say- around me. My place is filled with plants and warm lights, like an enchanted place, where I feel protected. I do have an issue with lack boundaries of giving to others and a hard time receiving the love that I so crave. My moon is also conjunct Chiron. Another astrologer put it so well: I need to learn to be my own best mother. Selfcare, self love. Thank you for this very clear interpretation of Neptune in the fourth house

Thank you for sharing Sophie! I have family members that also struggle with addiction and it is a very painful to see and live with. I am sorry for your loss. Do you have vivid dreams? I have heard that with this placement you can be a very active dreamer. It might be helpful to keep a journal and to meditate on the meaning and how each dream makes you feel. I have Pisces in the 4th house, I’m also a gemini sun, Virgo moon, sag rising. For me, I see my father when it comes to this house, & my mother when it comes to the 10th. My fathers a Pisces sun & my moms a Virgo sun. Thanks for the info💛

Correct I didn’t know my dad in just learning the secrets of my parents . My mom worked all the time and dad left her so she worked.

I've scorpio as the house, sag neptune and sag moon here too. Yeah done figuring my past , secrets and so much crap .I let it all go now, parents owned a pub so never saw them..on my own alot. Always wanted security in my homel lke yet im a natural loner , tarot helps find myself,

When a video on a certain natal chart placement not only moves me to tears but has me crying from the depths of sadness, yes, you could say this resonated. I was wondering what might help in finding that middle ground of reality where the view is neither too harsh/negative nor too rosecoloured (Since it is about illusions it could of course go both ways!) Anyway a few years ago I had a massive wake up moment that truly felt like I left the scene like Jim Carrey did in the movie The Truman Show. Looking around on the internet I have found a lot of people seeing their childhood/parents in a whole new light at around age 50, I was wondering what transits occur during this time? (I'm 49 and 'fell out of the matrix' almost 3 years ago, so it cannot be Chiron return or second Saturn return.) ✌️

I write but I can't look back and read it coz I don't like how I sound while I read it. I just tear it up and throw it away
