You've got an interesting CV now- dog washing, toad rescuing, drain snake removal. What's next?
Blocked drain. Chockas with roooots!
lol your comments on that blocked drain were hilarious and made me legit laugh out loud.
our Poweeeeerwashing skills are Superb!
WOW That was one of the largest root removals that I have ever seen! Keep up your great work ethic! 😊
That blocked drain even puts the addicts to shame! Great job :D
I’m enjoying the race to keep up with what you post! I love that the moss from the roof fell off quickly. I can see what you mean by how arduous the task can be when holding onto such a long pole. The pavers cleaned up well too!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I’m not in training to be a pressure washing employee, but I do enjoy your explanations of what to use and when and how. Makes what we’re watching that much more interesting! Thanks for the good videos!
7:40 this house is amazing ...
Crickey, that moss on the front roof was incredible. And just when I thought I'd seen as much gunk as possible, you then cleaned up a really yucky yard. That came up beautifully.
Condolences for the loss of your Monarch. Lovely to see you!
😂😂😂 17:49 My sleep deprived brain thought you said you'd need Rick Astley to get the white stains off 😂😂😂
I always like your roof jobs. They are damage prevention as well as make a place start to shine again. Glad you picked up several jobs in an area, from your good work. The paving job, is a charmer, in watching how the color changes and improvements turn out. Good work you two. I think we would all tend to think a drain pipe was clear...that clog, deep into the drain...says that is an area to maintain.
that tube cleaning content xD
I'm late dang it. Great job on the rooftop really needed it. Love your videos. Be safe
SID GLOVES PLEASE!!! ESPECIALLY WITH THE PIPE!!! YOU WORRY ME SOMETIMES!! Great Job anyway!!! CONGRATULATIONS !!!

How did your daughter's first day of school go? And you do the best job of anyone in your line of work!
That snake was too funny🤣🤣
Ollie would be proud of your drain clearing, Sid lol Great video as always!
Mate if you can crack the white staining, these new build developers should hire you full time! All new builds suffer from this so bad atm!

Why is that?
@sharonmiller6436
Жыл бұрын
@@cindyknudson2715 Usually it is caused by water leaching through walls and leaving the dissolved solids on the surface as it evaporates. Main problem would seem to be lack of waterproofing wherever the water is getting in in the first place.
Sid is on fire recently. So many videos! I love it 😂 Watch out you don't burn yourself out. Great job as always 👍
Roof cleaning and power washing in the same video, nice Sid!! Love your channel. Watching from Wisconsin USA 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Well done Sid and Kev. You are both working flat out there mate.

You're spoiling us this week but I love it, thanks Sid
Hi Sid. Greetings from France! Love your videos so much. This is my ASMR especially the pressure washing jobs. But, thanks KZread and the automatic subtitles because you are talking sooooo fast for me 😂😂😂😂 In fact, even the subtitles are like a Formula 1 race that I have difficulties to follow 🤣🤣 In any case, continue your job as is. Really appreciate your content. Have a good day 😉
Might be worth giving the new GK product a go for the efflorescence, it’s specifically designed for it and is acid free.
I've never seen anyone who needs a drain snake more than you need a drain snake.
Sid thank you for posting a bunch of videos, I really missed you while you were sick and on vacation!!! Thank you for answering the question about power washing and scraping roofs, I have been wondering!!!!
Hey Sid! Just wanted to come on here and leave ya some love, you and your channel inspired me to start my own KZread journey 🙃. Hope to get where you're at eventually!!!! Thanks for all you do brother and being an awesome dude

Agreed great way to wind down thats 4 sure especially with the music added 🎵👍
I'm glad you did that property, honestly at night I would he afraid to walk that alley, or be in the back yard, nor use those steps. Would have BLEACHED the patio, with about 15 gals of bleach. I used 6 on my front walkway, and 10 on back patio UNTIL I learned the joy of pressure washing I never knew the benefits of pressure washing your property UNTIL, I actually did it. I cried. I'm 2nd owner of 50 yr old house and it was never done before I moved in. For 22nd Home Owner Anniversary, I got new windows and pressure washed house (cheaper than painting brickhouse) and ALL the concrete sidewalks, walkways, drive way and concrete turnaround pad in the back. My House looked BRAND NEW, and RAY BAN sunglasses did NOT help the blinding glare from the concrete.
Cracking work and thanks for the video take care
Hey Sid wow another vid your on 🔥 mate. Hope your doing ok 👋
Excellent jobs, as always! What a corker, indeed!
Excellent video, very informative. Never knew that there was so much to do here.
Great job Sid!
My arms hurt just watching this. Good job!
Great work as always. That sludgy drain snake was an anaconda! lol😄
Now that is a ton of ROOTS*😊 Well done Sid!
Really good to see you are on track after loosing your customer data on the failed hard drive.
Love how you are so particular with your work.
It would be so much better if the home owners got together to do the whole roof.

It would be! However, one owner might not be in a financial position to clean the roof at the time.
That clogged pipe, looks like a job for Drain Addict, You could probably use your high-pressure hose to clean that out with, and push it through
@sirBrouwer

he might be able. However if the blockage is a bit much the water might be looking for a other way out. in a bad case that will be the toilet inside the house. It's a pain in the ass to get shit stains cleaned from a ceiling.
Great job, shame Rick Ashley is not there to remove the calcium deposits.
Wow Sid, great job as usual. Enjoying all the videos. I am sure most of the brick acid is Hydrochloric acid based. Most swimming pool places carry this.
I’d find doing this job so satisfying
also your arms must burn 🔥after the scrapping! Great job Sid! 😊
I really like your work and your humbleness. you feel like a good guy indeed. here in Portugal I use bleach after jetwash (we don't have weather to create that size of moss), and when it dries I use hydrophobic to the roof which has biocide and it waterproofs the tiles.
Sid, the content the past few weeks has been AWESOME! A quick question though. Are there any jobs 'too big' or 'out of your range' that you can't do now, but are hoping to do in the future?

Never! No in all seriousness if a huge stadium approached me or just something that would be a logistical nightmare i would be a bit out of my depth but fortunately i know a lot of guys that can handle it so it would be a great team up opportunity so i can learn from the best (:

Brick acid will work, will take a good number of applications. Be advised Sid, it WILL start to return after a number of days/weeks. The quickest way is media blasting, but it will still return.

Did the blocked drain hook up to the sewer drain? We're you able to unplug the drain below the ground service?
Cracking job lads keep up the hard work and great video's. Did you manage to clear the soak away out Sid?
Good job my man 🏴🇬🇧👍
Word of mouth on the street bringing you more business, I love that for you. Wow, what a difference, Sid. That dung snake was incredible. You and Kev were working like a well oiled machine on this one. I like the your notes attached. Good timing to read it all I agree with Humboldt below, maybe consider taking on an apprentice?
Really enjoy your videos
That was a banging turd coming out of the downpipe!
This is hard work, but it looks soo satisfying. Great job once again 😊
Looks great! Glad you’re back strong. Still going to your show on Saturday?
It's fun to see a roof scraping again 😊 Great video!
You Fascinating personality Sr 💖💖💖
Install zinc strips on the apex of roofs and edges of window sills. No more mold and lichen problems.
Just scraping the moss off mashes a huge difference.
A rare pipe snake LOL great results
great job mate!
Great job 👏
Great job Sid 👍Did you sell the V-tuff steam cleaner or have you still got it?

Not to take $$$ out of your pocket, but is there any other material(s) roofers can use in the UK that would perhaps “repel” that unsightly moss??? From your videos I’ve seen thus far, the “mossiest” UK roofs seem to have the kind of tiles that are in this one. Still sending love & best wishes from Florida, USA!!!!

Awesome job! Numbers 6:24-26
I'd clean the bricks on our house but i'm scared it might fall down if i do hahaha
That was a huge difference! But they left it for too long between cleaning ;( Can you do the chemicals without hurting the grass? Is there enough dirt space at the base of the walls? Wonderful job! Hope this finds you and yours happy and healthy. See you next time ;)
Gosh you must have great arm strength to control the roof scraper.
Oooha roof scraping love it!!! What a monster of a drain snake! Did you get much more out of the soakaway!?? Xx
Excellent.
A fantastic effort and result!
What was that "snake" that you pulled out of the pipe? You said something about roots, so...
Awesome 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻😘💖✨
Quite a clog there!
Fckin hell, that snake reminds me of last week when I was invited to a buffet the day before! Jokes aside, keep it up, you're always going the extra mile to make the job perfect!
How often do you gave to scrape vs pressure wash, Landlord might save money by pressure washing over time, and a good note in rental ad. I would like a pressure washed house vs non washed. Worth the extra money in rent if long term rental
18:40 as a power wash simulator pro I was mildly annoyed that you didnt clean the underside, but you fixed it 😂 like when you're at 99% and don't know what you have left 😂
Good grief Sid. 🤢! Other than that a great job 🤩
I've used a mix of white vinegar and water to remover efflorescence stains before and it worked well and that was with a small Stihl Re129.
That's one long turd you pulled out that drainage pipe, lol. 😜
No little toadies this time?🐸
First omg THE ADS! My God I am tired of seeing all of the ads that KZread is doing now… in the last year I swear it’s tripled. Every two seconds you’re having to wait through a fucking ad. ANYWAY- Great job! would have liked to have seen more of the steps cleaned as they were so dirty and it is very satisfying to watch something so dirty become clean.
I Used Hypo on a property today (Familys) and its 14-15% hypo mixed it 1ltr to 4ltr water, applied with yard brush and left for 1hr and rinsed it off but not much change?... still black spots galore! How long are you leaving it down? and also what you mixing it at? Thanks and as always Smashing Vids Mate!
Why was the roof so much worse oh the front than the back? The orientation relating to the Sun? Does that play a factor on it?
@airedale1913
Жыл бұрын
I'd imagine it relates to the sun and the prevailing wind direction yeah. Which side gets the weather.
Where can I buy the extra angle adapter for the end of the pole? Thanks sid
😊👍
Sid is getting a little bossy at the end ^^ :D
to get rid of them white stains on the brick just needs to be a hard brush but dry wetting or jetting does nothing just a scrub with a dry brush
blocked drain
Geez the people could Move all their rubbish out the way before you start
So is pressure washing a roof more effective and does it have a better outcome than the scraping process?
@bengrogan9710
Жыл бұрын
In simple terms the Moss spores can bind to any crag where dirt has gathered - Moss scraping removes any surface moss and most of the growth areas - Pressure washing will clear out all the areas entirely If I where to put a % to efficacy Scrape only 60% - Moss will begin regrowing almost immediately as there is still dirt there and the spores are alive Pressure wash about 80% - Moss will begin to regrow as soon as dirt begins to gather again as spore are alive Scrape + Biocide 80% at a guess - The biocide will inhibit for a while but once it dies back the moss has good growing conditions Pressure wash + Biocide - 90+% - You have removed its growth bed and you have salted the earth so any new spores should be dying back on contact for a good few month
