My favorite fruit is local produce bcoz they are sweeter than imported fruuts. Mainly watermelon, banana, cempedak, nangka, durian belanda (soursop), duku langsat etc

Nasi dagang taste abit different than nasi lemak bcs it use a special kind of rice, normal rice and mix with some glutinous rice. And the cooking technique is different also

When go to kelantan and terengganu i will find duck curry and eel soup. Eat nasi dagang with duck curry absolutely delicious.,😋

Unfortunately they don't have boiled eggs (telur rebus). Some stalls cook yellow curry (gulai lemak) with goose eggs (telur Itik) + turmeric leaves. The aroma of the leaves raises up our appetite, especially in the noon.

Chicken Gizzard (chicken stomach = Pedal in Malay) and chicken liver (Hati in Malay) will normally be cooked together in one dish with soya sauce (kicap) plus spices and 'asam jawa' or 'asam keping' (which sour in taste, used to enhance the taste). You may also choose to scoop only 'hati' part since you loved it more even it is cooked together in one dish.

I wanna suggest you one more type of nasi ..its nasi kunyit @ pulut kuning + ikan ayer or ikan tongkol + daging masak hitam..in english we call yellow sticky rice with curry fish gravy + black gravy beef..besides dish we put cucumber pickle and telur rebus..one of the local marvelous meals..u should try someday..i never see you eat that nasi kunyit in yr video before..go find it..maybe u gonna love it..

Morning DanAnna🌻. Dan, I think the nasi dagang at this warung taste so creamy is because they add a lot of creamy Santan coconut milk to the rice when cooking it. Some places dilute the santan thats why its less creamy. By the way the sign at the warung says Nasi Dagang not the shop name. Its just like a sign saying Fish & Chip or sandwiches. That warung did not display the owners name.

@@dananna8614 my fav local fruit 1-mangosteen 2-durian kampung (white flesh only,the yellow one for me just so so) 3-rambutan 5-dokong 6-harummanis mango (popular in state of perlis n its expensive..id tried so many variety of mangoes.cant beat dis one..out of season now..u should try next year)

Maybe Anna ate the tamarind slices/asam keping. It is not to be eaten but just to make the dish a bit sour. One more thing i always avoid is cardamom/buah pelaga. I hate it so much but it is important in our dishes 😂
