Ken Schrader and Ricky Rudd in the two Hendrick cars at Martinsville battling for the lead late in the race in the early 90's and taking each other out is a famous one as well.

And *that* is where multi car teams really started. Up until then, the train of thought was multi car teams don’t work. After that wreck (remember the look on Schrader’s face when he was interviewed), Rick sat down with the three teams and made it clear that it was one team, not three separate teams, and anyone who disagreed could leave right then and there.

I hope you create a second one. I love watching teammate crashes. It's always so awkward haha

I haven't watched Nascar in a long time. I do feel a bit of nostalgia watching these clips. But what really surprises me is that Biffle and Kenseth crash each other a lot.

Yo you ought to try a crash compilation where one car spins on the apron or at the top of the track, comes back in front of traffic and gets clobbered. That sort of "back across the racetrack" stuff

Probably could add the Rick Ware Racing incident between Cody Ware and Jamie Davison during the Saturday portion (before the rainout) of the most recent race at Martinsville

I wouldn't exactlly count the Sauter/Crafton collision at Talladega. That was more Bodine bumping King into Sauter to wreck him.... That Phoenix one though...

Ha, the only crash in this video i knew was keselowski and logano, earnhardt and johnson,Larson keselowski, stenhouse and edwards, and earnhardt and gordon. I learned a lot more from this video. :D

Allmendinger and Kahne at Pocono in 2009 Tony Stewart and Bobby Labonte at Daytona in 2001 and Talladega in 2003 Coy Gibbs and Mike Mclaughlin at Talladega in 2002... just like the cup crash at Daytona in 2001 the 20 landed on top of the 18.

It’s not the first time Austin and Tyler crashed each other. It resulted to Austin getting Injured in Vegas.

Dump your teammate causing him to wreck the car in front of him and get the win because of it. Being one of the cars to lose because of that is almost as bad as losing because someone wrecked you under caution.

Brian Vickers was a Hendrick car

Multi car team madness started with Ken Schrader and a teammate of the Rick Hendrick team “getting together.” That’s the moment that multi car “teams” really became teams. Hendrick now insisted that all the cars were now truly teammates. Up until then, nascar people thought it was DETRIMENTAL to run more than one car. And a new era was born. Not for the better, I might add.

First, why do Ford teammates wreck each other so much? (You also forgot this year's Auto Club wreck with the Roush cars) Second, why are Bristol and Pocono so bad for teammates?
