They need to figure out a way to make flips realistic but the rest of the crashes are fine. They also need to add the heat 3 damage model and many more in the next game. The late models need a better damage model though.

I feel like Heat 4 will be heavily focus on physics and visuals. Better damage. Pieces coming off the car, paint tradings. This game looks playable so I might give it a shot.

I got heat 3 today and played while the game was installing and the damage model worked, but after the full game/patch downloaded, it doesn’t show any damage to the cars even though I’m set on full damage.. any ideas?

Adam Cheek the damage models are realistic if you put it to full damage, the tire screeching is fine and the physics are pretty good but could be slightly better.

I don’t get why everyone expects great crash physics, it’s a racing game not a damn demolition derby! The best your gonna get is putting the damage on full damage I have it on that just Incase I do crash and I don’t try to most of the time

I can’t remember the nascar game I played back in the day on the Xbox 360, but it was so much more realistic than this! The damage on the cars were so realistic, black rings on the sides of cars from rubbing tires to the crumpled sheet metal!! It also seems like the graphics aren’t as good. It seems like nascar games have gone backwards!!!

Well I just figured it out now! Wow I feel so old, because it wasn’t played on the Xbox 360, I actually played them on the original Xbox or PS1, OMG! It was Nascar Thunder 2002 with Sweet Home Alabama intro and Nascar Thunder 2003 Magic Carpet ride intro! Now that I look at the graphics for this and the other old one’s, I still feel the cars in the old one’s have so much better graphics and crash dynamics, but the rest of the graphics I would have to say are better in this one!

Is there a better Draft package yet?

Flips still look like complete shit and when you hit the wall your car almost comes to a complete stop, and the tire squealing needs to fix that but everything is looking better, no more ice grass

TBH, NASCAR heat 3 is the same as heat 2, just with more modes. The game itself is still mediocre. Unacceptable that a game made on Xbox 1 looks worse than a 360 game made 10 years ago. The crash physics are unrealistic and the game is loaded with bugs

Damage is just as lame as the last two games. Time for 704 games to hang it up. 3 games and you failed 3 strikes you're out time to give it up to someone else. I believe Codemasters would have been a way better developer than 704

My nascar game for my GameCube 10 years ago had better dynamics and better damage models than this shit

Idk Player yea. They’re too smart. They slow down when you lose speed and they have like sticky tires or something. And there’s no blow overs. Heat 2’s crashes were better because there were more than 2 cars in each crash

heat 3 is great

Damage model is garbage. Cars hit the wall and have no damage. The 12 car flipped,the 42 car flipped and had no damage. A car hit the inside wall head on and had no damage. The graphics look as lame as Evolution and heat 2. You would think by the 3rd game you guys at 407 games would get it right. I'd rather go back and play Nascar thunder 04 st least the damage and wrecks were realistic. Graphics haven't improved at all in the 3 games this crappy development developed. Time for 407 games to hang it up and let someone else develop NASCAR because you guys are horrible at developing anything realistic. This game looks far from a new generation system game. Looks like an original Xbox or PS2 arcade.
