It’s because of a very strict curfew in Concord. I have gone to the world dirt finals since 2015, and that first year they had issues with weather and started a bit late. They kept going until about 1:30 am and finished… and paid a hefty fine after. Since then they stop at midnight, no exceptions.

I was there I am going home now and it was absolute ridiculous to stop the race yall announced that the race would continue and we sat there for two hours and then oh guess what nope even though it wasn’t raining or lightning. Don’t say we will race if we weren’t but it was a good race

Can’t believe they canceled the last bit of the coca-Cola 600. The only reason it is a crown jewel in the sport is because it is the longest race on the cup schedule and Memorial Day implications. If I was Christopher bell I would be so dissatisfied with this win because everyone is going to say I do not deserve the win even though he had debatably the best car in the race.

NASCAR is a shadow of what it used to be. When I was a die-hard fan in the 90s, you couldn't get a ticket to events unless you pre purchased a year in advance. Now, on EVERY race I watch on TV, they can't even fill the main straight grandstand. Sorry, fall for a once great sport😢

NASCAR highlights by NBC have twice as much racing shown in them. Bizarre, especially considering the actual race was hosted on FOX.

They didn't even have jet dryers... They used trucks with Scrub brushes. The jet dryers would have had that track dry in an hour

After watching NBC coverage of the indy race i can safely safe fox coverage lacks and they're no comparison to be made. As far as comparing the two races? Nascar has nothing compared to the indy 500. I'm a huge nascar fan but I think nascar needs to up thier game all around.

Good job fox and nadcar for ruining a good day and race. Cant believe larson flew there for no reason and now has huge points implications because of this. Larson had a 40 or 50 point lead erased. Its now hamlin truex -5 larson -6 elliott -17 and im an elliott fan. This race should never have been canceled.

The shame is the reason they used to end the race! Bottom line is, they ended it because it was late in the night and not weather! Bad move NASCAR! You will lose more fans because of that!

So Charlotte's NASCAR Cup Series history with Fox ends with rain well considering their first Charlotte race was impacted with rain (via FX in the 2001 All Star Race) it's kinda fitting in that regard. So we'll find out how Amazon does next year with this event. Plus the CW with the Xfinity race not only with Roval this year but next year on the oval.

Worst race ending ever

Again, NASCAR and Fox showing a complete disconnect with what fans want and pay for. Watch what regional shows like Freedom Factory are doing- that's where fans are headed. Long past its prime is NASCAR.

😂 Stopped the race early to facilitate Kyle Larson’s Taylor Swift moment and then called it off. Kez needed a couple more laps to take the lead and I knew they were going to make sure everything stopped for Kyle to make the switch. NASCAR and Fox deserved that L as usual. What a travesty of a broadcast. They missed literally everything interesting for 2 hrs while they prattled on about nothing.

Fox called the race! So over the garbage that is fox! The broadcast is an embarrassment week after week. Not to mention in the Chicago area we had coverage of a stupid weather alert that lasted approximately an hour. Missed the end of stage 1 and I believe it was somewhere around lap 60 into the second stage before the broadcast came back. Scroll the dumb weather alert across the bottom of the screen in words. Absolutely absurd but not surprising unfortunately.

Glad I missed it! I watched Kyle Larson ruin his Indy 500 with a stupid pit road speeding penalty and turned that off as well. Larson gave it everything he had and the Team even took off downforce, however, they used a dumb NASCAR call by taking fuel only on the final pit stop. How to make someone look stupid at Indy, well, that is one way. If you remove downforce off the rear and keep on old tires, you negate his ability to run up through the field. Oh, well! Gordon must have made that call or a former Team Hendrick Crew Chief.

This is why nascar blows, this would be better if Kyle raced too see what he could do coming off the Indy race they blew it
