Indeed, the reason why even in the midst of the so many plans of a person in this world, that it is still the PURPOSES of GOD which prevails is because of HIS FULL SOVEREIGNTY... We will help BAI in our own means and I wish many other OFWs would be able to send their assistance either through here or whatever means they know. Almost 20 years na kami outside the country but Im still proud sa race natin. As a 3rd world country "we have so much less and yet we actually have so much more", if people understand what I mean. You will be surprised that those words did not come from me but something I heard from a Singaporean TV Network (nung don pa kami nakatira) who did a documentary when they visited a place in the Philippines and witnessed who we are as a people...

One of the most inspiring stories I've seen so far! Lito is such a brave and inspiring person. Galing nya mag talk, very heartfelt and magaling sya mag explain. Tama sinabi nya prevention is better than cure!

What a beautiful story. If not because of this video, I wouldn't know all these things about Lito Gruet. He was one of the famous models during his time, a class model who entered showbiz like Richard Gomez, Raul Zaragosa, Ricardo Cepeda, John Estrada etc. I really believe that God chosed him to experience all those terrible things so that he could help other people who are lost and hopeless in this period of time. If he didn't have those, what are the things he could share to inspire others? I feel so glad that God gave him wisdom to become instrument in helping people to change their lives while there is still time

This is a genuine testimony of human struggle for his salvation..I salute you mr. Gruet.....

Thanks God at naging mabuti at nkarekober siya. At his age banaag pa rin ang kaguwapuhan niya at tikas, maybe may dugo siyang foreigner. It is realy a very inspiring story of an addict but got to overcome those very dark moment in his life and become instrument as a model of change. Its true that experienced is the best teacher and Lito is a good example of how drug dependent could recover.

People make choices. Good or bad. Praise God for helping Mr Gruet and other recovering addicts.

Amazing testimony. Jeremiah 19----“Then I went down to the potter's house and there I will cause you to hear my words. 4. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter.”. Thank you Julius Babao. More testimonies like this. It poses as an inspiration that there is hope if you ask God to help you not by your own strength but by through Him.

Had a chance to meet Lito Gruet, at the height of his addiction, when he and two of his women friends checked in to our hotel, Manila Pavilion, around early 90s. They ran out of money to pay for their rooms and meals. They skipped out of the hotel without paying their bills. Thank God he overcame his addiction. May God bless him.

Tatlo lang ang klase ng taong makakasalamuha mo sa mundo. Yung tao na taos puso ang pakikipagkaibigan sa iyo na handang tulungan ka para umangat. Yung tao na taos puso rin ang pakikipagkaibigan na isasadlak ka sa problema at hihilaing pababa. Yung tao na walang pakialam sa mundong iyong ginagalawan. Kaya ingat tayo sa pakikisalamuha sa tinatawag nating mga kaibigan. Alisin natin sa ating katawan ang tinatawag na Pride, Yabang at Pasosyal. Kung ano man ang mangyare sa ating maling desisyon sa buhay, huwag nating tatalikuran ang pagmamahal ng ating Maykapal. Gagabayan tayo niya, at tutulungan na maibalik muli tayo sa tamang landas. May kasabihan nga tayo na "Nasa Diyos ang Awa Nasa Tao ang Gawa.".
