I see a variety of features including:- thinly-bedded deltaic sediments, argillaceous (clayey) facies, aeolian heavy mineral sands (HMS) deposits, small-scale tectonic structures, a syncline, thickly-bedded clayey sandstones, disconformities and one unconformity.

Thanks for your expertise, John! Great to have a geologist along. Talk about job security! Your bailiwick extends to other planets! Can you venture a guess as to the most recent free water here? E.g., clay requires water right?

How realistic is this video to what a person would see with their own eyes if they were there next to the rover?

The dark material in the bottom of the depression is probably a clay. The dark colour may be due to deposition under reducing conditions. After all, Mars doesn’t have a lot of oxygen in the atmosphere (speculation on my part).
