@BigSmoke1 I understand, Deja Vu is a beautiful and enigmatic instrumental. The beat sounds simple but is pretty complex, especially with scaling the piano sample.

@BigSmoke1 Yeah, Steve Stoute and Columbia lable politics killed a classic. It wasn't marketable and sounded too close to illmatic (lyrically/sonically). With It Was Written, I think the lable wanted Nas to cater to the mainstream more with glossy sound for women and more luxury street bravo than urban existentialism.
