I don’t get some Sasuke fans. They keep saying that Sasuke is way stronger than Naruto. I think they don’t realize that in Naruto and Sasukes second fight, Naruto was holding back because he didn’t want to kill Sasuke, he was just defending himself. Naruto was also coming straight out of a war so his power level was at somewhere between 50-70%. Sasuke got a hold of all 10 tails during this fight and this fight still ended as a tie. Imagine if naruto was at his full power and he had intent to kill just like Sasuke. This would be an easy clap.

1: Sasuke has black flames however Naruto can neutralize it with his tailed beast form. 2: Naruto has 4 times the amount of Chakra than Sasuke (thats without tailed beast mode) 3: Naruto was using his clone at a consent rate throughout the war which would consume vast amounts of Chakra(Sasuke only had a battle before the war I believe plus itachi helped him) 4: Naruto only had half of the tailed beast before the battle with Sasuke thats after the fact they fought and finished the war( Sasuke took in all the tailed beasts) That would have made Sasuke have more Chakra than Naruto. 5: Naruto was not trying to kill Sasuke 6: Sasuke admitted defeat to Naruto(That could mean anything though it could mean Sasuke is admitting Naruto is stronger literally)

I think it's important to note that sasuke admitting defeat was probably because he recognized that he didn't have the resolve of naruto. Naruto never gave up on sasuke, and their last fight proved that he never would. I think they are intentionally meant to be exactly as strong as the other because they are the final reincarnations of Asura and Indra

At their first meeting Naruto may seem weaker than Sasuke but the thing is that both their training has been on completely different perspectives. Sasuke was trained by someone who new more than 100 forbidden jutsus. He wanted to train Sasuke to the extreme of his abilities just so that he could turn him into the perfect vessel for him. He would willingly teach Sasuke dangerous jutsus and most importantly, he would never stop him from practicing the wrong thing. Sasuke himself was a born genius with one of the most powerful abilities , the Sharingan and he was also driven by revenge. He would stop by no means to gain power for defeating Itachi, even if the method of gaining power was the wrong way. On the other hand, Naruto was not a born genius. His special powers till that point (before perfecting sage mode) was solely dependent on the Nine Tails, which he was advised to suppress. He was trained just so that he could defend himself against the Akatsuki. He was not made perfect nor was he taught forbidden jutsus. On the contrary, he was forced not to use his primary source of special powers. That is why Sasuke seemed more powerful than naruto. But if Naruto went Four Tail Cloak mode, then it would have been extremely difficult for Sasuke, even with his new powers and the curse mark. But tbh, Sage Mode Naruto and Mangekyo Sharingan Sasuke together would be a really good team already, forget the other power ups.

The biggest piece of Evidence in my mind for Naruto being stronger is that when Sasuke went into Indra mode he had to absorb a ton of chakra from all nine of the other tailed beasts. But Naruto just had a Kurama clone gather a ton of Nature energy and send it to him. The difference being Sasuke won't always have all those trapped tailed beasts around to help him but Naruto could gather sage mode anytime. So Naruto is definitely stronger in that way.

good night you obviously did watch the entire fight. He says “so you finally decide to kill me” as a sarcastic remark knowing that he wasn’t. If you watch the fight after he says that, naruto implies that sasuke already knows naruto can’t. It’s like taking the phrase “murder is okay, only if it’s self defense” and cutting it in half and only mentioning “murder is okay.” When you have the full thing it turns it into a slightly changed meaning. Just like the fight. Sasuke said it in a way to antagonize naruto.

It reflects how both of them were raised under different definitions of shinobi. Naruto was taught that a ninja is one who endures and never gives up, so he focused less on power and more on techniques that keep him standing and taking more blows (examples are sage mode and 9tails mode). Sasuke was taught indirectly by itachi's taunts that being a ninja was about power so sasuke learned techniques that were meant to outgun the other dude even at the cost of all his chakra (less endurance).

9 tails mode (kcm) isn’t something he was taught to endure, and take more hits. Neither was sage mode. He utilises both modes for immense strength boosts, that just so happen to make him more sturdy lol.

Some dudes really think, Naruto and Sasuke are equal because of the last fight between them. Sasuke had every tailed beast under his Control for that Fight and Naruto only Had 50% of Kurama after fighting in the whole war. Imagine that, so many Advantages for Sasuke and Sasuke still couldn't win. Now Naruto has 100% of Kurama, that means he is at least double as strong as in the war. The fact that he took all tailed beasts under his control doesn't account to his power? You're saying it as if it was an advantage he inherently and inicially has. Putting all tailed beasts into chakra sucking machines just proves how powerful and capable he is. He knows Naruto has more chakra than almost all shinobi combineded so he oustmarted him. To me the fight ended in Narutos favor (although technically still a tie) only because of the title. Sasuke is just as strong or even stronger

This seems more like a plot hole or plot armor. On power scaling Sasuke should have won. I agree Kaguya's defeat because she didn't seem to possess that much of skills. But that's different with Madara and Sasuke. Sasuke did have the necessary skills and power. Of course I wanted sasuke to get defeated because I really liked him and he was going way off the track, but they should have given naruto a meaningful boost. Then again, I always thought that Kurama was powerful source of Chakra and Naruto could use Sage mode that gave him huge amount of chakra, so he was able to defeat Sasuke.
