In my opinion, I think Sasuke turns out like this no matter what. If you remember the canon story, Sasuke ALWAYS felt inferior to Itachi and he wanted his dad's love and respect. And he never gave that to Sasuke despite him being better than his class. He kept comparing him to "Itachi did it when he was ___" or it was easier for Itachi. And he didn't show Sasuke love until Itachi grew closer and colder from the family. In real life that's enough to push a person to anger and resentment. In the filler, he had to deal with that even longer than usual to his later teenage years. And he was always emotional. So I can see this as being one way of things turning out.

Minato really launched his child into a 10 foot crater a quarter mile away, and gently placed Sauske on the ground

Because he’s obviously overrated by fans. Pain arc sage Naruto and war arc sage Naruto are 2 completely different characters in terms of power. Like it or not a fight between hebi sasuke and pain arc sage Naruto would be extreme high diff for both of them. Sasuke actually has an even bigger win con than sage Naruto because Naruto is more likely to get hit by Kirin than sasuke is by something as slow as a rasenshuriken. Sage Naruto himself is also still significantly slower than hebi sasuke which is another thing people tend to forget. However a common misconception is that sage Naruto scales to sasuke after he gets the MS. Some fans are actually confused but most are just delusional. Sage Naruto literally gets oneshot by MS sasukes ENTIRE arsenal. Flame control is one shotting, regular genjutsu is oneshotting, susano is oneshotting. NARUTO HIMSELF STATED he would need to master kuramas chakra to be a match for kage summit sasuke. Meaning after seeing what sasuke was capable of, Naruto HIMSELF admits he needs a bigger increase in power to take sasuke. This means anything in his arsenal at the time of that statment was useless against sasuke. Naruto’s own words bro… and you’ll STILL see delusional fans trying to twist that statment into Naruto talking about overcoming hatred lol. No no, he CLEARLY says masters the kyuubi meaning kishimoto was literally telling us that Kcm is what Naruto needed to match MS sasuke. So glad that the animators were forced to crunch to make an entire canon scene into a non-canon bland version of itself with strange character inclusions just to pad out runtime for another 300 episodes instead of simply waiting to make another season. Bro you don't understand how filler works lmao. They couldn't have used the resources to make a canon episode because they weren't allowed to make canon episodes. The entire point of filler is to let the manga get ahead of the anime so when the anime is catching up to the manga, the studio makes filler until the manga is decently far apart again. It's either make filler or have a hiatus for months at a time

The canon will always be better & feel more raw, because the writers were most likely immersed in the story. the filler shit is like a watered down kiddy version, and it doesn't actually incite a "what-if" things just happen that are vaguely possible, but aren't interesting at all. somehow i feel like i could write something more dope, like imagine a sasuke vs naruto esque fight with different characters and personalized dialogue. like hiruzen vs danzo as late teens, that'd be dope.

Sasuke wouldn't have killed Naruto if Kalashi didn't stop them on the roof. That Rasengan would have obliterated Sasuke, which is what made him throw a tantrum in the first place
