Abridged Naruto I think. Apparently it skipped Utakata's encounter and his whole story. It's weird if he said that's the end of it because there is still fillers coming.

@@kyurei4478 Yeah, it completely removes all filler content and duplicates to drastically shorten the overall watch time and episode length. Kinda wonky in this situation, though, considering the Utakata storyline was filler that didn't feel like filler. You also see Yagura curbstomp Itachi early on and Fu participate in the time-skip Chunin Exams in filler. That all provided some emotional depth to this encounter that's lacking without it. Naruto fighting a random reanimated jinhuriki he didn't know vs Naruto fighting a reanimated corpse of a friend who was murdered by this lunatic. 🤷

@@Wheatbread93 Yeah it's a bit messy here. It removes important and interesting aspects of the story even though it's not directly integrated to the action. Yeah without it all the jinchurikis stay unknown ninjas pretty much while they have some cool background.
