That's what they did back in Uzumaki Chronicles in PS2. I freaking love that game, standing out from the rest of the Naruto games that are trying too hard to be the new Tekken (2D fighting arena kinda thing)

I feel like this game would’ve been legendary if they literally just added a great in depth story mode. That would change the game. They should make a part two. But with a story mode and take notes from xeno verse.

I got this game at release and well it had its issues it was still pretty fun wish I didn’t pay retail especially when I also bought fallout 76 retail around the same time goes to show you how making informed purchases can really affect the games you buy

I bought it at launch for xbox and played lots till my xbox broke i have the first items special event clothes on data probrably still. I bought it on PC and im really enjoying the new Jutsu combos and clothes. Though I main the pve area

I came in around last year to the game when it was on sale and trust me it’s come a long way. I love to play it with friends despite the many connection issues you can run into.

I just wish someone ( NOT Bandai ) would make a Naruto game with some actual RPG/mmorpg elements, like Xenoverse. This is simply an arena combat game, with half-assed combat mechanics. It’s sad, because the Naruto lore would work perfect with a sort of class/sub-class system and mmo mechanics ( ideally with polished, free form combat ). Imagine creating a character, choosing their combat/chakra form, playing through a detailed story, getting immersed in that world. Don’t understand how it hasn’t even been attempted. Probably something to do with the chokehold Bandai has over most popular anime’s.

I just wish it was kind of like Zenoverse with story mode if u get bored of the online players

They should make another "naruto shippuden ultimate ninja impact " game using this engine! Add a player vs computer (1vs1 or team fight) option ,,and make online battles only as a side option! That would be a blast , this engine could implement the best game experience in 4th great ninja war in story mode!

YES YES YES!!! Finally! Someone gets it. To this day I haven’t bought a single dlc and I’m beginning to whoop ass and rank up in the Ninjas World League.

I wish the game had more freedom on what you can do with your character. I want to use any jutsu without having to change my class. I want to have crazy things like Chakra cloaks and full Susanoos Idk if those are in the game tho. I want it to be open world. I know a very good fangame (kinda) called shindo life on roblox. But in that game there is a lot of grinding.

Coming to the end of 2021 and I got back into Naruto from looking at all the jutsus in the anime, to a beta fanmade openworld Naruto game which I loved the look of. I remembered this game came out but I wanted a game that covered more anime, so I got jump force. Might pick this up soon!

@@xmkeyboards The beta fanmade game was called Shinobi Era, picture an open world Naruto game with the choice of 5 villages and multiple style users, skill trees, and other online players. I really wanna get it, but you have to subscribe to the creators patreon to use it, or you could wait until it comes out for free, it was built on Unity too! And I'm actually quite enjoying things, I'm still playing jump force despite the fact it's servers will shut off next year, so I've also got other anime games like Xenoverse 2 (beginner btw haha) and one piece pirate warriors 3 ( I would like the 4th one but I dont have much cash at hand haha)

I feel the same way about DLC. I got PKMN Shield and having some zones as DLC exclusive when it was already like 50, 60 bucks seems like they’re just trying to squeeze as much money as they can from people. I got storm 4 for 16 bucks on se the other day though so im thankful for that lol

Seems like all modern video games are following this model it's really disgusting especially when it's that type of DLC that can be a significant game-changer rather than just cosmetic

If you’re looking for a more story based game and want to do it on shinobi striker I recommend you do role plays

So as aforementioned, it’s on sale for 8.99 and I’ve been on the serious fence of getting it for awhile and I see this on sale kinda frequently so I would really like to have some honest opinions about what I should ultimately do as far as getting this game

I got it today and it’s pretty fun. Deff not a long term game tho. Maybe if they were to allow you to select modes, made more maps, and didn’t have atrocious load times it would be a lot better. But it’s deff a cool game. Youll just want more out of it then they provide

I got it on sale last year too and finally got around to playing it, today. I'm... less than impressed. It strongly reminds me of those knock-off Naruto "MMOs" which were flooding the internet during the Shippuden era. I actually had to double check to make sure it was official because it doesn't feel like it. It's a pity too because the concept of playing as your own OC in the Naruto world is a very good one. Imagine a game where you make your own shinobi and play through their story from Genin to Jonin or Anbu. It wouldn't have to be overly grand in scope or connected to the anime/manga in any meaningful way, just the life of an average ninja living in that world. That was what I was hoping for when I booted it up (I didn't bother looking at reviews because the price was so low). Unfortunately, that's not what this is. I don't feel ripped off because it only cost me a tiny fraction of the money I saved on the Storm games (they were on sale too) so it may as well have been free. However, if I had the choice again then I wouldn't buy it.

I might spend 9 bucks for the deluxe edition on PS4 if I like the demo they gave.

I can agree with you, I hated how this didn’t have a proper story mode, but if you have friends or play on Xbox (I don’t know if ps4/5 have it) you can join a random party and do a role play with them. If you don’t like making team based strategies to help your team and don’t like it when a game crashes, this probably isn’t for you, and I also wouldn’t buy this game for 60 dollars and I’m mad that they took it off the Xbox gamepass.

Ok I know this is really old but to clear up a few things 1 there is a "story mode" it's just not very long or good it serves mostly as an extended tutorial 2 as far as microtransactions you never need to buy a season pass that was never a thing you can buy each individual character on their own for about 5 bucks a pop 3 there is absolutely no reason to buy moonlight scrolls...ever every item a moon scroll can give is the same as a valuable or esoteric scroll can give for free no other transactions are needed Everything else is pretty spot on though I too wouldn't recommend buying it at full price but if you got 5 bucks laying around and you like naruto then yeah go for it

Just don't know how they can sleep at night releasing this game for that price. I want another game like naruto ride of ninja and the broken bond or maybe closer to kakarot but improve on its flaws

They say to choose your team character classes correctly for each match, but you don't know what your teammates are playing as or even what the match is till it's already started.

This was a GREAT review and actually had me laughing ahaha

Some issues Too much tracking (no skill required to aim jutsu and stuff, also tracking is really fucking annoying to go up against) Some jutsu are ridiculously hard to dodge or even impossible to dodge (for example flying raijin, it’s pretty much impossible to dodge up close, and u can’t block it. And it does a lot of damage, stupid fuckin jutsu) Barrier battle, this game mode sucks ass and is incredibly unbalanced for the attacking team. Defenders almost always win. Base battle- base battle on its own isn’t bad, but when u have every single person in the mode running water pillar or sand sheild or summonings and basically just free ways to cap a base it becomes not even remotely fair in the slightest. The fact that people can not heal. U can pretty much only heal if u substitute at the perfect time or if u get a healing scroll or u have a healer on ur team. There needs to be health regen, like if ur not In combat for like 10 seconds ur health starts to come back. Healing types are way too op. Yeah I said it, broken as shit, especially since no one else can fucking heal. Not enough maps Not enough gamemodes Laggy/ bad framerates It’s kinda stupid how ultimates hit boxes work, u either one hit kill someone or get a direct hit and do no damage. Bull shit. U should be able to have more than just two jutsu on a character like 3 or 4. To add some more variety to combat. Blocks are too op. Nothing counters blocks really except breaking them, which if u try to do do u can just get parried and knocked away, if u don’t have a strong jutsu like majestic destroyer or something u can’t counter blocks. There should be a grab in this game similar to smash bros. Combos are fuckin annoying as hell, and take no skill especially since u only get one sub every 20-30 seconds. It sucks if u have no sub all the enemy has to do is spam light and heavy attacks. There needs to be an air dodge and actually combos instead of just spamming the attack button and everything being true. There should be inputs or something to add variety to combat instead of just mashing and doing the same combo every time But yeah I still play this game, but if it wasn’t naruto, i sure as hell wouldn’t

Bro you say blocking is over powered it really isn't. You can only deflect the enemy away from you once. After you deflected them all they have to do is attack you again and your guard is broken. What do you mean nothing counters blocks? You do realize that there are A LOT of ninjutsu in this game that are unblockable like Kurama twin impact, flying rajin which you mentioned is unblockable, or Uchiha Style: Halo Dance. What exactly do you mean when you say combos? That's one of the most fun parts of this game is putting people in combos. No shit you get a one hit kill once you use an ultimate, its an ultimate! I totally agree on the fact that ninjutsu are hard to dodge. I despise Yaka beads and Truth seeker orbs. You have no chance of dodging those jutsu. I also agree on the fact that your character should self heal if not their not being attacked. And healers are absolutely broken. I can't stand Izanami I hate that jutsu with a burning passion. I disagree on the the tracking no one is trying to aim their ninjutsu at someone it would take way to much time. And do you know how hard it is to hit someone with flying rajin level 2. Not only can you sub away from it if you actually hit the enemy it does no damage. The only way to make flying rajin level 2 a guaranteed hit is if hit the enemy with an attack then you press LB or RB/L1 OR R1 and you always hit the enemy with that jutsu no matter what. I do agree the cooldown on subbing way to long especially since you only get one substitution. And as much as I hate water pillars and sand shields, there are counters to those jutsus now. Lightning Style: Thunderclap Arrow, 8 Trigrams: Hazan Strike, Kurama Twin Impact, Rasen-Rampage, Imperial Wrath, Karma Linchpin: Strange Taste, Fire Style: Majestic Destroyer Flame, Inferno Style: Flame Lightning, Truthseeker Orbs: Cycle are all counters to water pillars and sand shields.

Dam bro I feel you. Tracking be bending around walls and shit. The lack of polish let's things go through walls and floors or hit you when it clearly didn't To many jitsu that zero out your resources especially subs( you can get cc locked to just never be able to sub which is your main defensive tool) The pay to win loot weapons seem to not allow subbing until well into the combo and most of them have routes for infinites or close to them Just way to much cc. Like they don't even use this many cc like abilities in the show

@@Troll_vs. Yes. I can't stand those fucking chakra claws. U get attacked u can't sub out for like 5 seconds I have the chakra claws but I refuse to use them and I will never use them. And I really can't stand how some ninjutsu goes through walls it makes sense but its still annoying.

for me its basically the game itself going WAY too slow, we constantly get the same ninjas like Naruto or Boruto instead for example getting full Akatsuki already or any other unreleased ninjas from it, if it had the same amount of ninjas like in storn games this would feel way better

These changes would make one of the best PvPs out there the undisputed #1!! & Since This IS A Team PVP GAME: I hope with all the characters & abilities STILL TO COME OR SHOULD BE COMING, that they give to us PLAYERS: 2(& 2 later)More SETs to make 8-16 more builds & versions of our character. OR At least 1(& 1 later after 1 Year) and give us another Character Slot. (THIS IS the Better Option!) I want a Man & Woman Character with all the Gear we have jeez…. 🙏🏾 ------ In Appearances, add a Tab- Headband Placement: On where to put the cool HeadBands. -Forehead/Neck/Waist/Either Arms/Either Thighs/side of head. 8 Options! -More Skin Colors! -ADD a Very Hard Difficulty Sanin Level(KAGE’ Nominee Levels & Title/Rank given) Missions that can only be done in TEAMS of minimum 3, so that the Title Legendary can be put in right. These would be Big Map Battle/War Like Missions with NPCs helping too! & -Hard Level ANBU Missions for Title and Such as the 2nd Hardest missions in the Game dealing with extra tough opponents and Boss including Hunter Nin. Donald Allen Outside if A, There is like 6/7 from Cloud that still ain’t in it. 8 if you include the 2 Tails Beast Jinchuriki. Mist is Missing 4/5. 6 if you include the 6 Tails Jin w the Bubbles. And some 7 Deadly Mist Ninja. Stone is Missing 5/6. Not including their 4 & 5 Tails Jin. Sand still missing like 3. 5 if you count Boruto. Konoha still Missing several too. Including Anbu! Samurai Iron Land missing like 3-4. Waterfall- 7 Tails AKATSUKI missing 3/4 TAKA missing Karin/Jugo/Suigetsu

Been playing 2 days and it feels terrible already I did get it on sale for like 8 or 9 but damn lol seems like the same game from launch after watching a few videos about it. Everything good seems to be class tied and from DLC pair that with no story mode and I think imma end up quitting soon. I feel like if they removed this class jutsu restriction shit would make things a lot more fun

I played at least for 50 hours. It´s funny that i agreed with everything you said on the video. The fighting mechanics were just unpolished, specially close-quarters combat, 1v1 close quarters is atrocious to play, but despite all, me playing this game casually, i had fun when i played.

Do i still get to play with real people if do the $59.99 one

i actually rnjoy the multiplayer aLOT. I think naruto storybased games are great but there's enough of them IMO to try something different and this does it pretty well

Nice vid, though there are a few things I would like to point out due to how much of a nitpicky asshole I am. First off, the thing with the dlc if I'm not mistaken, while certainly being a way for them to get more money out of you is also a way for them to keep the Naruto anime license (I don't know if they changed it in the past year, but if you had an anime license you had to make a "game" with that license I think once a year or somehting like that, ntbss got around that by making a few dlc each season), but with how much dlc there is now they are a bit pricey with 5 euro each Next up are the moonlight scrolls... Yeah I got nothing for that... I mean at least they are the same as esoteric scrolls and not better... But honestly they are pointless, if you play a few hours in the competetive gamemode you can get 10 to 20 esoteric scrolls (same as moonlight) for free Oh, also the load times, I'm not sure about this one but I don't think its the games fault most of the time, since there are some people with, well lets call it interesting hardware that are playing this game, other than that I have no clue since for me the load times are so long only so often, about 70% of my matches load in under 15 seconds The virtual missions are just plain stupid honestly, since they don't scale with more players you could play a mission with friends and completely destroy it, or play a mission solo, only to realize you are wasting your time since its basically impossible to do certain missions solo... Also this game is very chaotic, it would be pretty chaotic in 1v1 scenarios, but since there are four people in each team it gets really confusing at times, I can't imagine how this game must feel to new people with how many jutsu there are Getting completely destroyed by tryhards or cheaters is another thing, while I certainly don't want to group these two types of people together, they are quite similar when playing against... eheehh honestly sometimes its easier playing against cheaters rather than the tryhards I don't know about being able to buy ninja master progress, since I completed all the masters in the game, and never noticed any way to buy progress there, but it certainly is possible that that is the case Also yeah I bought this game for about 5 euro, and I have to say that it is most certainly not worth 50 euro, even moreso when you have to pay for the dlc characters. I think the game would be okay at about 10 to 15 euro if it kept its dlc prices, thats what I think at least And there are a few topics I won't address, like lack of maps since a new one just got added, or jutsu balance since they are constantly rebalancing all the jutsu, also the fact that multiplayer becomes much easier with even one friend that you are on discord call or whatever with I am not even that much of a Naruto fan and I still managed to sunk hundreds of hours into this game, but I would have never bought it for its full price that for damn sure... But they got the money out of me anyway with the dlcs...

is there p1 vs p2 offline battle using 2 controllers like jump force?

funny thing is ppl cringe at spending 5$ in a game , but they trow 10$ at a season pass to get skins 90% the playerbase have...

The pve is literally the worst in my opinion like the gameplay is laggy asf, hit boxes on enemies are crazy terrible, loads of bugs in various ways. Even if this game is on sale it's not worth it.

I do prefer Storm 4 for the story and all the characters, but this is a nice little diversion.

No story mode? that's a benefit for me

Damn, I got this game on sale for ps4 and I never paid for PS+. Should've bought it for PC 🤣 I don't want to buy a subscription to play this online. I know I won't be playing the whole month 😅

Good trade. Storm 4 has a decent value still. Red dead and striker I'd say are bonuses.

I really enjoyed it and I liked both dragon ball and Kenshin as well. Naruto part 1 will always be better than part 2 though

Part 1 is better than part 2. Part 2 (shippuden) devolved into godly eyes and explosions.

It’s my top anime of all time With That said I have yet to see bleach, hunter x hunter, attack on titan, my hero So maybe once I watch those my opinion might change One thing I like about naruto is that it has a story that any one can easy relate to and equate to at some point in ones life Liking a girl that didn’t like you back Feelings of loneliness with no friends, People doubting you Being born into circumstances you didn’t ask for People you care for and about dying Hating someone only to find out that what you thought about them was wrong once you get to know them And the list goes on and on The fighting is the icing on the cake.... but it tackles a lot of themes
