For me it been if im not mistaken 10 years jr. High when was watching anime alot more man time went by like crazy

It's so powerful, the imagery of drowning and falling to the deepest end in the darkness of the ocean, but being lifted from that darkness and overcoming it to reach the surface. The music itself reflects every one of these moments beautifully as it builds up, making this one of my favorite Naruto Shippuden openings and I just recently had started to listen to it every day again. You gave this beautiful song justice, I want to cover it someday too

The best part has always been Naruto being lifted higher than he ever has been, literally soaring into the sky. This should be the happiest moment in his life because he's finally gained acceptance, but he doesn't hesitate to tighten his headband and dive back into the darkness for Sasuke as he sinks without proper support. The fight isn't over until he saves his friend, no matter what he has to go through This doesn't do that part, but it's all good. It's the full song, not the Naruto opening 😞

You're seriously incapable of missing. Your ability to sing over such different types of beats with no loss in quality is frankly unreasonably incredible. You have skill comparable to a Shonen protagonist at the top of her game, I swear

Oh I love the song! I still see Naruto falling in the water and still sinking and sinking until he gets a push-up by 1 person leading to another person and then by the end you see every single person pushing him out of the water, jumping over the water then seeing his eternal best friend forever sinking in the water looking evil and Naruto diving in the water to come after him...... That is how fantastic this song is if I can remember the whole sequence of the video from the start of the opening lol. And as usual you've done a great job with this cover Amanda though now I'm imagining you doing the same thing and trying to save someone who's clearly being evil for a very very dubious reason..... Makes perfect sense to me but still great job!

I was wondeirng when you'd cover this! Its one of my absolute favorites, and while this song usually evokes depression, you captured a heartbreak here. Not sure if its a breakup or a familial relationship hut this is between two people and it stands very much out from kther covers for that alone, but your voice has also just matured and changed. Irs been a long while since ive heard you sing jn a lower register, which youve layered with yourself harmonizing. And everything about jt is just really cool. Im glad you waited until now. I appreciate this version for what jt js and for the vocal and editing work you've done with it!

This was always my favorite "Naruto Shippuden" opening. It's shame it was wasted in a filler arc, because both the song and the animation were so full of meaning and symbolism, perfectly encapsulating Naruto's state of mind at that point of the series. And of course, this cover replicates that perfectly. Seriously, awesome job!
