@@saaramb3452 this will always be something ppl can’t agree on which I understand cause itachi’s is still rly sad. But in my opinion, Kakashi’s is sadder because his dad was one of the only people in kakashis life that he actually opened up to. Then his Dad commit suicide. After finally working as a team with Rin and Obito, Obito saves his life and gets killed in the process. Soon after Rin purposely commits suicide on Kakashi. Imagine your best friend using you to kill themselves... now imagine how you would have reacted when you were 12. I think it gets worse because Kakashi failed to protect the one person he promised he would. Moreover we know Kakashi is haunted by Rin’s death as he relives it often in his dreams. Though he would not say it, it is quite obvious that Rin meant a lot to Kakashi seeing how he never had any friends and didn’t open up to anyone other than his dad. Furthermore, Kakashi sees himself in Sasuke and Obito in Naruto so he doesn’t want them to fight. Obito is literally always on his mind we know this because when Kakashi is late to Team 7 trainings. He uses the exact same excuse Obito used to use when they were young. On top of this the fact that Kakashi cannot ever turn off his sharingan means his sharingan is literally a constant reminder of how Obito died so he could live and that if he had not ‘abandoned his friends’ him and Obito would have had a stronger relationship. You can see Kakashi never stops thinking about Obito as he states ‘those who break the rules are trash but those who abandon their friends are even worse than trash’ (OBITO’S QUOTE) Kakashi now values teamwork so much that Team 7 is the very first team that he passed. Imagine the pain he felt after finding out Obito was really alive and the founder of the Akatsuki. Kakashi felt responsible for the cause of the threat to the entire shinobi world. All because he let Rin die. Also forgot to mention the deaths of Minato and Jiraiya. Everyone in Kakashi’s life died. The main reason I feel Kakashi’s is sadder is because I would debate Itachi did not NEED to kill his clan. People will say a war could have started with the uchiha and the leaf but Itachi taking it into his own hands is way too extreme IMO. There are civilised ways to deal with things bruh. Unlike Itachi, everything that happened to Kakashi was thrown at him and Kakashi could do very little to stop them from happening.
