i like the volumes that do not have pure white in the background or at least have a square background image of color in the middle so its not just the characters with all white behind them...this is not bleach....thats their thing....

OMG!!!!!! I feel the SAME way about the kazekage retrieval arc!!! Every time I try to binge-read/watch Naruto I have to skip it. People forget how saturated that arc was for a time, every game, every tv airing, the only manga at the store, even the DVDs all kazekage retrieval arc. EDIT: I HATE SAI TOO!!!!!

Surprised you didn't note how volume 36 is the only volume where Kishimoto is at the top. Of any SJ really where the creator is at the top, I always consider that one an outlier, an anomaly.

You know , I did read the manga and watched it at the same time when it was airing .. . Sp made some changes to the manga too . So I say go for it . The manga is more intense and bloody .. . And give the novels a chance as well . They are really great ... .
