Top tip living on a canal boat is not classed as living off grid

from Vancouver Canada. What an adventure you two are having. I told my wife that if we were 50 years younger, I'd want to live on a narrow boat cruising the British canals. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

Hey, how cool! A vintage second-millenium washing machine that still works! And a proper bath! And a good-sized bedroom! And the little seat on the 'upper deck'. This is not typical narrowboat living in any way.

Hi there , lovely boat ...we’re gonna on a weeks hire boat in 3 weeks....have done for last 4 years, love boating,so quite and peaceful and away from hectic life...trying to convince my wife to rent out our house now kids have fled the nest....I so want this now ...so jealous..happy for you guys....happy boating ...I’ll cry myself to sleep tonight....I’ll be okay

This is lovely, I would live in it in a heartbeat, very homely and comfortable and some good ideas, but I would need a long curtain in the bathroom entrance, maybe a cheap shower curtain, a longer one, which will be good for moisture as they dry in seconds, well done on this

That's really nice .always interesting to see other boaters ideas . I thought the loose non fitted furniture worked really well and a great colour scheme . My wife would kill for bathroom and bedroom of that size.
