I promise to remember Lucy when I feel like im not good enough. I promise to remember Reepicheep when I feel to small to make a difference. @Liatomlinson And it was great thing that in three of those motion picture movies of Narnia Aslan was voice d by Liam Neeson who is one way of king himself. His characters like in Taken trilogy and Schindler's list are so unselfish and brave.

@Christian Mulipola well said but the reason Lewis chose a lion for narnia is because as any Christian who knows the various ways Jesus is referred to in the bible they will realise that Jesus is referred to as the lion of the tribe of Judah so that’s why . Also his name literally means lion in Turkish language . Various times Aslan is called the son of the emperor over the sea a reference to god the father . There really isn’t any mention in the chronicles to anybody that would represent the Holy Spirit per se but the other two are enough to get the Christian message in these books across . The pevensie children and eustace represent us believers with Edmund being like Judas in the first book and Aslan dying in his place and resurrecting because he’s innocent . At other points Aslan appears briefly as a lamb which is another way Jesus is referred to ( lamb of god ) . He also talks of being the great bridge builder . We must remember these books were written after his conversion to Christianity and accept christ fully into his life hence the analogies he also wrote many Christian apologetics works in the 1940s and gave talks on them as well . If you’re interested some of them include mere Christianity , the problem of pain , the four loves , surprised by joy , and the screw tape letters . But something I do know is that the last of the chronicles ( the last battle ) in 1956 won the Carnegie medal for children’s literature a prestigious award for children’s literature at the time . One of my fave authors alongside his good pal jrr Tolkien .

What if he was 'real', in a way? Aslan was based upon the Lion of Judah, who is Jesus Christ. CS Lewis, the writer of the Chronicles of Narnia, was a Christian and said that Aslan is a representation of Christ Jesus. Look at Aslan's death and resurrection, it is a picture of what Christ really did. Long live the King, the Lion of Judah, Jesus! 🦁✝️

Christian apologetics books in essence are basically an attempt to explain and or defend Christianity in a way some of his work in that area and his most well known of these is mere Christianity but there’s also the problem of pain , a grief observed which he wrote after the death of his wife joy Gresham in 1960 from cancer. Others in this same vein include the four loves and till we have faces .

Whom shall I fear always had a narnia (Aslan, but I figured out it was Narnia because in his eyes you could see the reflection of Caspian, Lucy, Edmund, Eustace, Reepicheep, and the Dawn Treader) background at AWANA when I was a kid, it was my favorite!!!
