Just finished this. They were meant to be together. I love Trash's quiet, steady devotion. He was a man. There was no contest, really.

I know in the drama who is the most handsome, namely Chilbong. But really, I really love Trash, not because of his good looks or appearance, you know for yourself how absurd Trash's appearance is, but I really like the character Trash has. He is so gentle, warms the hearts of the audience when he treats Najung well. I like his attitude towards Najung. He is really the character of my dreams, I hope someday in the future God sends me someone like Trash.

The writers got this right. Trash & Najung have a deep history. The chemistry was raw and real - the good and the bad. And through it all, they never stopped loving each other. I wanted Chilbong too but after the 19th episode, it was clear that Chilbong was not right for her happiness.

I am literally crying at first it seemed like she would end with chilbong but i shipped her with trash coz he was the man really cared bout her

I love trash. I love his character, his aura and he's cute. Im 27 yrs old and im done choosing whos cute and handsome to be the lead. im with the personality, character and acting now. if your vision is to find a guy that will really love and take care of you, you will love trash. He is destined to Na jung If i watch the drama when im 15 i will choose chillbong bec I prefer whos the handsome to be the lead.

Yaah 100% agree with you. Trash oppa was the guy we dreamed a lot in our life.

I just love trash character..He not so visually handsome, but the Oppa aura is so charming..He protect Najung so well, and the term "Oppa only have Najung" is so 😍😍..I really so sad when trash become so ill bcs he miss Najung so much and heartbroken when see Najung with Chilbong..Trash deserve Najung bcs his love for Najung is more than anyone elso..

Trash had no competition. He was the one and deserved this. I hope I find someone like him for me.

I really support his relationship with trash since the first episode.... Really love his character that really care about na jung and not only her but also her family... Love his character so much no matter what others are saying

I am currently watching this kdrama but I'm feeling crazy and I can't sleep thinking who is her future husband. So I searched it and now I ruined myself 😂😂 cuz I was seriously convinced that her future husband is Chilbong.

I knew that they would end up together because of their cameo in reply 1988!!! I actually just started watching reply 1994 (ep2) and I'm shipping them so hard already. Went to KZread to spoil myself more since I know who the husband is already basing on their cameo but was shocked to see the baseball player and her have lots of scenes including kissing scenes together that I almost thought he's the husband. Good to know that it's trash huhu

I also watched reply 1988 then reply 1994 6 years later. So i remember that najung was the cameo, but i cant remember who was her partner in that scene. So i really got worried who will be her destiny, bcz i prefer trash so bad than chilbong. Can you tell me which episod was they been cameo?

I just finished this one, lots of my friends prefers 1997 but omggg I super love this one than 1997. And I also love the fact she choose Trash, I'm so anxious all throughout the drama that she would end up with Chilbong. Good thing I stopped myself in looking for spoilers, so worth it to wait until the last ep! I just don't want to get over with this couple before watching 1988 bcos I know for a fact that's everyone's favourite. I would just like to spazz over Na Jung and Trash first. Na Jung x Trash is the power couple ♥️♥️♥️ Off to 1988 😂

I really wanted Chilbong to be Na jung's husband. I felt that he really loved her and was more attentive to na jung that what Trash was. Also, he spent years waiting for the time to be with her and it saddens me that he didnt have any chance. He was cute, talented and lovely :(

Not a single minute did I have second lead syndrome in this one. Trash wasn’t perfect but damn he was husband material. I’ve seen so many K-Dramas, but Trash will forever be my bias.

I was expecting it to be him, because in reply 1997 Yoon-Jae got the girl and he liked her first, he knew her, and was closer to her more than his brother. I came here to cheat I am on episode 7 right now. I just didn't want to believe that Chilbong was her husband .So yeah and I'm so happy for them, I was shipping them from the moment he was taking care of her when her back was hurt 🥺🥺

Same here! Everyone wanted her to end up with Chibong. I think the writers were wrong in having her end up with her close sibling who's got a very lousy behavior! Not sure what she sees in trash anyways. These two don't seem to have any type of chemistry because they fight like cats and dogs!!

@@angie0340 same here as well! I couldn't finish the movie because I lost all motivation to continue watching due to the fact that she ended up with a very annoying trashy guy! Makes no sense whatsoever that the writers have her end up with a sibling relationship type of person who has no quality of romantic chemistry and they fight like cats and dogs! This is why I think "REPLY 1988" what so much more well written with higher ratings! This movie "Reply 1994" is the worse romance movie I ever watched!!!

@@wmw4668 I totally agree! Reply 1988 was so much funnier, made way more sense, more well written and more realistic. Whereas, Reply 1994 doesn't make any sense at all! Except that some parts were funny that's it.

the best couple is nareki,,,,trash can be brother, bestfriend, and boyfriend to na jeong at the same time,,,trash liked na jeong sincerely from the start (see when he was shock and stunned when chilbong kissed na jeong in a game play, then when an army in matchmaker asked for na jeong's pager number but trash told the army that na jeong already has a girlfriend, hmm), maybe At first, Trash didn't think that Na Jeong had feelings for him, so when Trash found out that Na Jeong liked him, he was confused because on the one hand, Trash was considered like a biological child by Na Jeong's father and mother (trash was afraid of losing his adoptive family and his fear happened when the two broke up in episode 18 or 19 when trash cried while talking to na jeong's father), but on the other hand he also liked na jeong and this was even more pressured by chilbong's decision to confess his feelings to na jeong, at that time trash started to really afraid of losing na jeong...i am grateful that nareki finally married and lived happily with the bittersweet of life,, a mature and realistic love story

I'm only on ep 19 but seriously?!?!?! Looking at this video I can't believe she ended up with Trash!! What is wrong with the writers! This just ruined my excitement of wanting to continue watching the movie now. I have no clue what she sees in Trash. He is so freaking annoying and his attitude is very childish and irritating. I don't see these two having any chemistry whatsoever, let alone they fight like cats and dogs! They act more like siblings. They don't seem like they're actually in love with one another but more like a pity love for one another because they're close as siblings only. Chiboong is sooo much better!!!! Not sure what the writers were thinking! This is why I think "REPLY 1988" was so much written with higher ratings!

I really like reply 1988 even jung hwan didn’t end up with deuk sun. + reply 1994 is good I really ship Jung and trash they have a chemistry to and also chilbong too. We just got excited because of the sweet/kiss scene of chilbong and jung. But that’s how the story is so just bear with it. Also trash isn’t annoying and childish

Well, Jae-Jun is better for Na-Jung and Sun-Joon is better overall. We all would've chosen Sun-Joon, but Jae-Jun and Na-Jung get eachother on a deeper level.
