This is an east to west pan of the TIMPA/NARAM 57 launch site. It was shot from the center of the runway. As the pan proceeds, what becomes visible is a white line aimed straight at Terrill Willard (FAI Flyoff CD) and he is standing at the center of the competition launch pad semi-circle (about where the RSO will stand.) As the pan continues past Terrill, the location of the Sport/HPR range may be visible due to cars that are parked for a SARA sport/HPR launch being held the day this was taken. The viewer can clearly see there is little in the way of trees or other obstacles when it comes to retrieval of duration flights.
