To be honest Samay's joke isn't just a dark humor. There is a truth to it specially in this age.I have seen plenty cases where parents raise huge amount of money for their kids operation.But once they get this extraordinary amount of money they utilize the money for something else like house, cars and other luxuries.Infact few months ago a women in Uk raised 50000 pounds in GoFundMe for her healthcare and utilized the money for her lavish lifestyles.
Samay has the dark humor which makes him different from other comedians

Actually British Comedian Jimmy carr had a piece similar to this one, where he tells some really dark jokes and whenever people laughed, he made fun of them.. I think Samay got inspired from that and wrote a similar piece of his own.
