I guess the best thing about this movie There wasn't any love relationship between them Only understanding pain of each other simply they were just being humans

this is my second time watching this and it's still as beautifully painful as the first time

Two kindred souls, going through pain that they can only understand. A beautifully written drama, with so much emotion. It's annoying when people / society make assumptions when they don't have all the facts. The one thing she gave him was hope, & he liked her for that. The thing she got for from him, was to be their for him as a student and to continue her husband's desire to help young people. She is indeed pretty & played the role well. I too agree that 99% of Asian dramas have so much more soul & depth to them. It's like looking into the lives of everyday normal people like you and I. Well worth the watch. Thank you KBS, from a South African fan 🤗

One of the best drama special! I dont think the ending was hanging. It was clear they are going to be together though the type of relationship they have is open for debate..ugi is the motivational factor for nara..and nara give strenght to ugi. The story itself is beautiful. Such dynamic characters..

Yes, I like the Story. They will end up together.

This is a lovely drama, with a well-written screenplay and fine performances. And, for those commenters who think it was sad, I didn't find the ending sad at all. I felt a sense of satisfaction that they both felt at peace with themselves, each other, their deceased loved ones, and, yes, even the rain! (Remember he said he used to hate the rain?) Now, it's my personal opinion (fantasy?) that, after Ugi graduates, they'll run off to Spain or Africa together! Ha! I'm loving K-dramas and drama specials! :)

I love Korean dramas so much !! I have watched most of the KBS drama specials and this one touched my heart.It says so much without trying to ruin it by giving too many dialogues to both the characters specially Nara.The situations and silence speaks for itself.It reminds me of my past.How we hold on to the memories and how easy it becomes to relate to someone who is going through same situation as you.The pain becomes common link.At that point age factor and social stigma doesn't matter.

I love the stories, the background music (piano) and beautiful scenarios of Korean movies

These short dramas are so much better. Please produce more especially on issues that really affect ordinary people going through a lot

VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!! Moving and Nara and Ugi just makes you fall in love with them.

I understand exactly how they feel. Things like this is not easy to deal with and sometimes it feels like your just drifting with no where to go or no one to speak to or be with. You really need people who went through this to understand and be there

whenever I watch movies, I always want it to end on something that satisfies my expectations...and sometimes things will not go the way that I want it to be...it is so frustrating because i watch movies to fill the emptiness inside me and experiencing shortcomings is not helping me... movies that leave me hanging at the end and want me to do the thinking of how the ending turn out to be...I REALLY HATE IT

the girl in this movie looks like a typical japanese women that has an extraordinary beauty. I love the simplicity of her looks. 💓

Jung Eun Chae is elegant& expresses her loss with grace and suspicion. Great portrayal of a grieving widow and her sadness. You Mingue reciprocates her feelings and keeps his distance so as not to arouse suspicion… good drama

The Dramatic films from South Korea are always so touching. I loved this film because it moved me to tears. I love south korean cinema, and all the love from Pakistan to Korea.

Because it was so interesting, I've watched the entire film. My goodness, this kind of plot is refreshing! The author is good and the actors have done well! ♥♥♥

There are no boundaries when it comes to love...and once in love, control simply drop away, and you just love...period. Who you love?...it could happen in an instant so what can you do? You just love. I believe it's the actions love evokes that hurt, not the loving itself. Taking action can be wrong, but not loving someone. I like the old US adage..."it's what you do and not what you say, that makes the person!

Really love this drama, very heartwarming. A story of hope, of letting go and moving on; a story of healing and of accepting; of learning to pick up the pieces after a devastating experience.

Great Movie. So many are ready to point the finger to others who seem to have found Love. The Moral Majority are a bunch of Hypocrites who say one thing and do the opposite behind closed doors. Wonderful Writers and all the Acting was Fantastic. Thanks also for the English Subtitles..

Just shows You're You had a wish to know more about People, Places and Things. You'd be an interesting person to know and You did that all by Yourself. Be Well..

Awesome, we go through life and loved but we don't know how to react and make do in the world after a terrible loss, these 2 souls came together needing support from the loss to rebuild their lives and move forward no one knows how they feel until they walk in their shoes.Loved this drama and the acting 🎭 was spot on,u could feel every raw emotion❤.My rating is a A, thanks😊

Come here after i finished watching the amazing drama Come Here and Hug Me 3 hours ago, written by the same screenwriter who made this drama special. Nara's Rain is such a heartwarming story. I think it deserved another episode to tie the knots much better like for instance to see Nara gained more courage when she teaches the students or confronting the teachers who badmouthed her late husband for doing something that was supposedly noble. Romantic relationship between a teacher and a student is something i don't really want to witness in real life but i'd like to believe in this story, the student, Son Ugi probably sees Nara as somewhat someone who felt like home to him. When he said, "is it wrong for me to like you" and "i missed you", it could probably meant like he's liking and missing Nara as someone who give him the family comfort he longed for after all this time since he had been living by himself and bearing the pains and loneliness for 2 years. What a beautiful story 😃. Thank you so much KBS for uploading this. Been a great pleasure 😀

How come none of my female high-school teachers looked like Nara? Maybe I wouldn't have cut class so much if at least one of them did. What's really sad is that some creeps are always trying to turn some purely social relationships into something sexual just because their lives are so empty.

Hunters brought me here. Jung Eun Chae is a good actress,loved her in this. The cinematography is very good for being a drama special.

YAH! In fact I like them better than the regular dramas that sometimes has no english sub and the episodes are not in sequence or some missing episodes that you can lack sleep @ times! Rarely special dramas end up hanging! it more often has its conclusion or closure!

On a heavily rainy day, Na-Ra (Jung Eun-Chae) lost her beloved husband and Woo-Ki (Yoo Min-Kyu) lost his beloved father. Two years later, Na-Ra and Woo-Ki meet as a teacher and student at a high school. Since his father died on the rainy day, he is afraid of rain. Na-Ra tries to take care of Woo-Ki and they are able to console each other. Teachers and students at the school though, eye them suspiciously.

The ending is very clear. I think nara won't be a teacher in that school anymore. The relationship between her and ugi will be continued as a friend at first because all through the film their status is teacher-pupil, but from now on they will be like close friend, and maybe the relation will be a romantic one someday, who knows 😅

Here in morocco its ok if a teacher marry her students, of cours people will find it weird but no one has the right to stand against it nor it is again the law, the age gap or the levels has nothing to do with love, we eventually accept that, i just dont get it why korean complaicates alot of things when it comes to love and marriage. Regadless this drama is amazing, warm and touching, i love rain and i love stories about rain

The guy is so tall And handsome, saw him in shut up flower boy too... And the drama is worth watching.. i give it 4 star

Life is full of challenges in living and loving. It is good to have a soft place to fall. This is a really good drama. Ugi is still in high school. I believe Nara is being responsible and will wait. Potential good outcome for the future. Enjoyed this drama thoroughly.
