NARA DREAMLAND - World’s Most Famous ABANDONED Theme Park

Nara Dreamland was the most famous abandoned theme park in the world. I was the first photographer from the west to explore and document the theme park in April 2012. Soon after, my photos were published in mainstream media articles and Nara Dreamland became known to the world. This video from my VAULT SERIES presents the first ever film footage of Nara Dreamland in its abandoned condition before it gained legendary status.

Incredible. This really pulls me into the morning and what it might've felt like to be there. Something out of my wildest dreams. All the birds singing is an added bonus :)

Those birds haunt my dreams! I'll never forgot how perfectly they sounded against the foggy backdrop of Dreamland.

Fantastic footage of, yes, one of the most iconic haikyo in Japan. I had already been living here for quite some time when it was demolished but started to get interested in ruins only after it had been taken down. A real pity. Thank you so much for those breathtaking initial and final shots.

I’m sorry you missed Dreamland. Maybe someday we’ll have a Star Trek holodeck and can program a simulation!
