Well seeing how the interest in Napoleon Bonaparte has grown (I'm sure thanks to the oversimplified videos), it might be a success.

what i wanted to say is this, the french Empereur Napoleon brought the world into a modern era, he changed Europe and the whole world, he was not only a military genius but also and perhaps even more a political genius, a scholar, an excellent mathematician and an enlightened writer. Napoleon is probably the most capable man the world has ever produced. His detractors, all former enemies, called him a tyrant, but of the 7 European coalitions launched against France, Napoleon only declared war first only once! And moreover, Russian troops were already marching towards France.....Have you ever met a tyrant who is adored by his people? This French emperor was adored by his people, which is what led to the return of the 100 days. France owes him so much....the police, the national gendarmerie, the fire brigade and the "Légion d'honneur", as well as the "Banque de France" and the "Cour des Comptes", two institutions that will support the advent of a modern economy. Napoleon lost in the end simply because “he couldn’t stop”. The man couldn’t rest on his laurels because he had achieved so much at an impossibly young age rather than at a steady pace, his enemies seized on that.

This could be the best film in a LONG time

If you are saying Napoleons troops shot off the Sphinx's nose then that is NOT true.

Looks great, though they should’ve deaged Joaquin Phoenix because Napoleon is young when he became emperor (around 30s)

To be honest, for the role of Napalion, they chose the best actor Joaquin Phoenix, Ridley Scott, probably only believed in this actor that he would play the teran correctly, because Joaquin's performance was awesome in Gladiator, and Joaquin will repeat the same at least see 2 Oscars from Joaquin will not wait and he get another one
