My favorite boxer in activity. Just a sparring session , even though you can see clearly the skills difference. Inoue´s just built different. I´d love to see him against our brand new champion Puma Martinez from Argentina. They are in different categories but just a few kg

@@silive4067 Now that I re watch it I think this was a later round in his sparring session and that he was a little tired. To me, his footwork was a bit flat footed and not mobile on defense, his lead hand dropped after throwing his jab, and his head movement during his opponent's combinations was lacking a bit. Overall he looked sharp and was generally comfortable but to me these are all small signs of fatigue.

@@Southpaw128 He often drops his hand after throwing a jab, and he lacks headmovement even in his real fights. Once he get’s into pocket, he shells up with his head on the front foot, and when his opponet throws a shot, he moves his head to his back foot. There’s nothing wrong with this, but THE PROBLEM is after he moves to the back foot, he’s stuck in that position, and he has no option but to shell up. Even Dipaen, who’d trained boxing for 2 years, could “T-off” him and land huge right hands around the guard. That’s not his fatigue, that’s his HUGE TECHNICAL FLAW.

やっぱりパンチ恐れない選手だと井上は結構貰うよね。スパーリングも別にサイズ差が云々というよりもタイミングを盗まれてる訳で。それも戦績の示している通り技術のある選手じゃない。”タイミング”って最近よく耳にするけど相手のタイミングを読む能力と相手に読まれないタイミングで工夫して打つ能力があって井上は後者の能力は少し欠けてるんだよな。

As we see here, Inoue can be timed easily because he has no feints and no probes, and he almost never changes his rhysm. No shoulder feints, and no positional changes as well. The worst thing is that he only maintains the distance with his steps and his punches, which especially gives you a huge problem when you get pressured. Someone who isn’t afraid of Inoue’s punching power can give him a huge problem. There’s a reason why Inoue is timed so frequently in this sparring session despite the fact that Inoue’s way faster than his opponent. Yes he has an A+ level power, in and out footwork, weight transfer, and balance, but only has a C level skillset/craft… and yeah his pure defensive skill is C level as well…

Many people only watch the “surface” of this sport, power, hand speed, in and out footwork, combination punching, and other flassy stuffs and so on, but things I mentioned above are also huge factors in this sport. I’m a Japanese, and I used to have Inoue as a top 3 p4p fighter, but after I’ve started to film study many fights and learned many stuffs on boxing, I dropped him even from top 10 along with the fact that he has a weak resume. To me, Brook’s performance against Khan a few days ago was way more impressive than any of Inoue’s fights in terms of skill, craft, and iq …

As good as Inoue is, he still has some fatal weaknesses. The guy always leaves his hands down after throwing his hooks or jabs. His head movement is also pretty non-existent and keeps his head in a line. It’s why Donaire was able to crack his skull open. He was able to get away with this because he never fought any dangerous puncher until Donaire. Might not be a good look since I think Donaire figured him out and Casimero is a crafty dude that can lay you out if you’re not careful. Forget about Super Bantam or Feather. He can probably beat Fulton, but not sure about MJ or Figueroa. Hell, even Nery would give him a run for his money. And forget Feather. Magsayo would lay him out.

He beats Casimero, MJ, Figueroa, Nery and especially Magsayo with relative ease. Realistically he does't really have a competition unless he moves up to featherweight or super featherweight. You can't really compare his fights with Donaire to Casimero when Casimero have completely different style from Donaire plus Inoue technically fought with 1 eye and still dominated Donaire. You're an extreme hater of Inoue and I remember you saying Gaballo would lay Inoue out but then without realizing that Inoue has actually ragdolled Gaballo in sparring at his gym 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Listen, you don't become a top pound for pound boxer at such young age for no reason. Inoue like Canelo or Usyk or Loma is a whole different animal.

And he didn’t “dominate”. It was a good fight, hence the rematch being in demand. Inoue is great but he’s definitely beatable. Lots of tough fights available for him to show his level.

Because Inoue OFTEN leaves his hands down after throwing and ALWAYS keeps his head in a line. Dude has nonexistent head movement. He also did not dominate the fight lol. These are all facts you can’t dispute. But since you’re the chairman of his cult, it might be hard to take these facts in. Once you’re able to take Inoue’s power like Donaire did, you will find a home for your punches on Inoue. I have a feeling Figueroa and MJ will. Magsayo? Lmao.
