Superb, but you need cheap white bread, butter or margarine, and curry sauce or tomato sauce. Try a crisp sandwich too! Same thing but with your favourite flavour crisps. Cheese and onion for me -- my older daughter prefers salt and vinegar. Great hangover food!

Chip Butties are absolutely fabulous! You have to have butter for sure, or toast your bread or use fries with gravy. I don't eat them often anymore but any time I do I have someone ask " are you eating a French fry sandwich?" I proudly say yes, yes I am!!

Haha so have I . What an odd one I had! . My friends were Scottish and had us over for lunch. It was layered with Heinz beans, and chips between buttered toast . Eeek..oh and some brown sauce for added yuck. The beer helped wash it down 😂
