Su-Wei is tricky until she sees real power

Hsieh Su--wei doesn't really have a two handed forehand. She ordinarily hits with two standard two-handed backhands, one lefty and one righty. Monica Seles and Marion Bartoli had two-handed FHs. They kept their primary had on the bottom of the racquet on the FH side and hit the ball cross handed, with the off hand on top. But HSw completely flips both hands, so she is hitting with the left hand on the bottom on one side, and the right hand on the bottom on the other. This is a complicated switch, and when she doesn't have time, she doesn''t completely switch, so she hits those lovely little dink shots with slice. I don't know why more girls aren't taught to used two hands from both sides. Bartoli and Seles each won a GS when they were 30 pounds overweight......that's how good their ground strokes were..... Marion reached another slam final, and Seles was on her way to becoming the best female player in history when she got stabbed.....

Hsieh is the type of really annoying player to play with. They play very basic tennis & their racket string are very loose so they don't swing as much & it looks like the ball is a simple ball but it's flat af. Not to mention the ball goes pretty much everywhere.

She is simple but yet deadly. Yes, her tennis is not flashy but it's ruthlessly effective. I bet a lot of tennis players watching her play think "oh I can beat her". Her opponents underestimated her to their detriment. She is the one and only out there with that style. Everybody else is just the same, power and topspin.

@@joshuatran3667 Actually women tennis are more flat shot. Men are 100% all topspin. Only Iga playstyle are significantly topspin in the women's side. Radwanska are one person who plays like Hsieh who achieve greatness in tennis.
