Those comparing her to Esther are wrong. Voice textures are not same. I would say they are different and unique in their own ways. But Esther 200% deserve her win. She was something else

Let me tell u something,I like Esther,bt d songs she sang were most soulful songs,Naomi went down taking difficult songs,especially dt South African song whre she spoke dia language,I tell u dt song is very hand to sing even fr south africans..The truth Naomi didn't win because she wasn't not a contestant bt a judge..Judges dey learn from here der sef..No cap

Esther is a better singer. Naomi's vocal range is not as wide as Esther's. Esther is more proficient in nearly all the vocal registers from chest voice to whistlenotes.

At all. It's based strictly on voice that Esther has an edge over Naomi. Versatility in music genres is what Naomi has more than Esther while Esther is highly proficient in different vocal registers. She is nowhere close to Esther's mad high notes.

I see Naomi trying to improvise in areas she is meant to drag a high tune for long by adding new lines from the original. But both are very very good in different ways. Wish they could do a colabo
