    I just got mine today (D6+). It’s my first electric scooter, I’ve never risen one before. I’m used to atvs. This thing is fun! Boy, there’s a bit of a learning curve the throttle is quite sensitive. Loads of fun though!

    @@harryarteza3435 still love it. My biggest issue is the tire tubes could stand to be thicker. Or rather the tires. Throttle is sensitive but it’s overall very comfortable and has a top speed of 42 mph scan go 40 miles on a single charge for me. I’m 6’1 180 pounds. I’d buy it again. Charging time is about 10-12 hours from empty.

    Yes also glad you said your height, I’m 6’3, 200lbs and I kept looking at scooter reviews and everyone seems to be 5’10 and 150 pounds. Which for most scooters is a great height and weight. When I ride bird or other rideshare brands, the scooters always have a hard time getting me up a hill. So I’m happy to know my D6+ that’s on the way will be able to take me up and down the San Francisco streets.

It is a blast to ride... fast..strong.. solid... so many products these days are advertised to be so great..and then when you get it.. it's usually not even close to what the "picture" looked like.. or does not perform as advertised...etc... The tech support answered my email early next working day. Tip: put your feet as close as possible to the front wheel to prevent wobbling at medium/high speed. This is something pple never seem to say in reviews and it can be dangerous not knowing.

    I love owning this scooter. Coming from a mi m365. This is a beast. I only weigh a buck twenty and it hauls ass. I'd recommend switching out the knobby tires for street tires unless you primarily off-road. The only problem I have encountered is with the really low quality of screws that come stock. They strip no matter what, so I'd keep a screw extraction kit on hand and buy a set of replacement screw on the internet of good quality for like 15 dollars. Not a huge investment considering it's over 1700 dollars. I was taking the screws off the shocks to put on the better ones they sent me for free. The back one went on much more easily and is like butter off jumps. I couldn't believe how much more stability and confidence it gives of jumps and over rough ground

I personally went with the street tires as the off-roads it came with don't have very good grip when turning on assphalt on such a powerful machine. I also got their free upgraded suspension kit I'm planning to install over the next few days with the tires.

    D4+ 2.0 owner here, which is a fantastic scooter btw; the only thing I am by now REALLY grieved about quite hard is that it hardly comes over 31 mph (GPS-measured; my weight is 176 ibs) despite being claimed a 40 mph scooter - that's the ONLY reason I'm jealous about the D6+ bc you often get a stupid smile from all those annoying-noisy motor scooter drivers that are always albe to drive 5-7 mhp faster than you which would be no more of a concern with the D6+.. Well..my next scooter anyway would be a Rion that lets me chase cars on the highway and fu** anything in terms of acceleration, except for sports-bikes and super sports cars but on that thing 80 miles will feel like 190 on a sports bike, so I'm waiting for the day some wannabe motorcross-biker taunts a wheelie next to me only to get stunned right after by the sheer force of the Rion that will haunt him into his dreams - it will be the pure joy of understatement and I will laugh my freaking ass off when I imagine their stupid face after being left by an escooter. I tell you, that day will come..

THE HEM CAN NOT BE LOCKED ONCE IS FOLDED. THE D6 IS 200 BUCKS MORE THAN THE EAGLE ONE. AND THE EAGLE 1 IS WATER RESISTANT. WELL ANY SUGGESTIONS?

    voltage, 58.5 is usually full, 43 volts is cutoff (dead). I usually keep mine between 52-56 volts. Don't run it all the way down (43v) and full charging it every time may reduce battery life. Fast charging is nice, but I wouldn't do it unless needed as it strains the battery.

If I couldnt push it around inside somewhere and didnt want to lock it up outside, do you think its possible to wear it on your back?

    I've got d4 d4+ and d5+. Worst things is that the break pads and small things fuck up fast and there's no replacements if you live in europe, takes hours to find a supplier and then shipping takes months and toll cost 100 times the price of the item. it sucks. the display stopped working, one didnt work from start. brake wire snapped, the d4 had a bad battery, lights stopped working on all three after just a month or so. So lots of problems and a pain in the ass. Flat tires is a daily pain so eventually you just put on airless tires. Plus: The battery on my d4+ and d5+ is great, I can go so long on a higher gear, no complaints. Tip for the manufacturer: On the D4 there was a bigger deck, then you made it much smaller, for a 6'4 guy i have one foot almost at the front tire. That one also had a bigger thing for folding, i never used it for folding but it had a hole so you could lock your scooter up with a fat chain which could not be broken, now i have to snake the chain around the neck and if someone wants parts they can rip the handle off and take off with the rest. not good.

    I noticed that on the homepage of the website, there is a display photo which states that the display is weatherproof. The photo shown on the main homepage when I selected the D plus model shows rain in the background. So my question is, is the scooter water resistant to the point where if I get caught in the rain, will my scooter still function?

  • @igornonte

    @igornonte

    3 жыл бұрын

    I would say it's water repellent, not totally resistant. Been riding in pretty heavy rain without any problems, the most problematic spot is where the deck connects to the fork. Remove the plastic plate held by 4 screws, where all the wires from the stem go into the deck. I got some silicone and fill that hole tight. No water inside the deck even after heavy rain. To be extra sure, I would also place some silicone under the deck cover.
