The fact that you’re able to do NaNoWriMo during nursing school is wild. I’m in my last semester of my elementary ed classes and I fully intended on doing NaNo and even did Preptober but I haven’t even started. I might do some during thanksgiving break but it’s not like I can write 50,000 words in 10 days. So I might start my draft during thanksgiving and finish it during spring break. And maybe edit it in the summer. That’s my tentative plan.

i also started school at the beginning of the pandemic but i feel so lucky that now in my second year I'm able to have my classes in person. also the way you're juggling nursing school, filming, editing and nano is so inspiring!! can't wait to see your next update!

KZread recommended this video to me out of nowhere (okay, maybe not nowhere, I have been watching a lot of Kate Cavanaugh recently), but I gotta say, for a channel that's only been up for a short while, your videos are great! I recently graduated college as well, though for something a lot more low-key than nursing, and holy shit how are you still so put together? You're doing Nano and nursing school??? at the same time???? I could barely handle doing 4 classes a semester!!! And you're doing labs!?!?!?!?? You're insane. Have you been blessed by any gods recently? holy shit (Also, if you're writing romance, give Gwen Hayes' Romancing the Beat book a try. She's got a lot of really great structural tips in her book. Personally, I've loved reading and using her book.)

thanks laura!!! :) so for my virtual clinicals we've basically been doing a bunch of virtual simulations and scenarios using online softwares such as vsims and OMS that walk us through a patient scenario as realistically as possible! it's honestly really cool!
