Its method acting guys . Whenever Nanon picks up a role , he does that to every role, like health ledger in joker . He completely becomes the character itself and lives the character for the series . If u watch My dear Loser , gifted , blacklist u will understand . "Oh" role in My dear loser affected him so much, cause the character is a looser and has a peculiar manerism and should always look less confident and be bullied by everyone. So even after the series ended, he couldn't come out of the character . His confidence levels decreased and he used to follow the mannerisms of the character unknowingly and struggled for some months to come out of character . He has the same issue with every character he plays. He speaks about this issue even in Safe house . Here he cried cause , he is in the character Pran and he loves Pat so much and he cannot be away from him but he left pat after the kiss on the rooftop and is overwhelmed by all the emotions and the kiss .He knows he has to shut his emotions down and never talk to Pat about his feelings so as a character it must be so hard to love someone unconditionally for so long and ultimately get to kiss them passionately but end everything after that kiss . cause he must remember when he was transferred from high school and didn't see Pat for 3 years . He must have been so broken and torn during that period to be away from Pat and music , so he shut down all the emotions . Cause he cant go through all of it again .Remember after the kiss pran completely becomes emotionless and shuts himself from pat in ep 6. And there are so many layers of Pran and everything is so subtle . Nanon was also affected by Pran character a little , most of it is positive like smiling a lot , and being all cute etc but Pran is reserved person, so Nanon became reserved for some time , he was not his usual self . But after some time he learnt to come out of the character slowly . but he still cant remove the character 100% . A part of the character stays with him . He is not sure and he trying to deal with that . I hope he doesn't do a dark role untill he figures out how to run out of character completely

There is one more angle also , like after pat confessed he likes ink in ep4 . Pran was heart broken , but he will try to overcome it . In ep 5 Pran tries to be happy for Pat & Ink , almost tries to forget about his love for Pat . But when Pat kisses Pran , all his walls breaks down , so just once he tries to do what he wanted to do all his life i.e to kiss Pat . That's why the kiss is so desperate, its like first & last kiss for pran with his love . He must also be regretting the kiss afterwards , cause he never wanted to show that side to Pat . U can see , he avoids talking about the kiss in ep6 . Idk , I see his pain , desire , love , regret all emotions in that scene . Like he just wants this pain to stop , stop loving pat , but he cant & he must be blaming himself for it .

Yeah we can all feel it. It's difficult for them. They are not completely into each other, neither out of each other. Their relationship is very different comparing to their relationship with other people. It's like they actively avoid each other in social media. They used to be very open and public, now it's suddenly very privet matter. You would feel like they don't talk anymore. But when they are physically together, they give the "Old couple" vibe.

This is why method actors are so precious, as much as they are rare in the acting industry... Method acting is mentally and psychologically dangerous... as much as it is beautifully artistic. Some method actors even end up suffering from psychological illnesses, personality disorders and even depression due to the mental and psychological strain demanded from their craft... Method actors deserve a lot of respect. 💜💜💜

Nanon commented in an interview that same thing. He even went to a psychiatrist because when he finishes a series he can't get his true personality back.

Somehow he's having that🤧 he always carried away by the character he portrayed. He also have his check up im not really sure but i think he's also having a depression. Luckily he have this very supportive family ☺️

@@FirstTimeCatMomit's when an actor fully immerse himself/herself to the character they're playing. method acting is kind of rare, actually. to act the role is one thing for actors, but to entirely "trick" yourself you're the character is a whole lot another.

This is why we all felt his pain that time. This is good acting. Remind me of Mew. I cried like a baby when Type broke up with Tharn.

The way he said in illumination fanmeet that he said he can’t move on from this scene because it’s all Pran wanted his life then also know he can’t have. How he delivered exact emotions to us. He is amazing

Nanon is a versatile actors, i idolize him sobra. Sa ny dear loser pa lng super galing na niya.

Nanon must be feel like, their kiss on a rooftop shows the frustration about how two people of the same gender fall in love with each other and knowing their relationship might not be accepted by their family is likely to make him cry even to BTS. He plays the role very well anyway 🥺

Method acting is so hard, but Nanon is so good, he's legit one of the best actors out there.

I really adore and respect the art of method acting. It's beautiful but equally dangerous psychology. Aaaah this is one reason i so so love Nanon. He's so precious 🥺

Just finished the series right now and I couldnt stop complimenting and noticing how amazing of an actor Nanon truly is. He's so immersed in the characters and his emotions are so raw, so real, so convincing. I hope for nothing but the best for him both in his career and personal welfare.

I like how ohm is just standing there knowing that nanon will be fine. This scene was a cultural reset in the world of bl series. And as a ohmnanon fan,I feel so proud!

Esta escena con esa canción de fondo rompe mi corazón. Es de las escenas más fuertes y profundas de la serie, por eso la azotea guarda para ellos (PatPran/OhmNanon) un lugar especial, en ella pasaron muchas cosas. Ese beso fué tan apasionado y llevaba consigo infinitas emociones, así como fué hermoso también fué doloroso, en ese instante se sintió lo suyo como “un triste/trágico amor”. Ellos de verdad re sintieron esa escena. Recordemos que ese no fué su primer beso. P’Aof comentó en un programa que el primer beso grabado fué el de la playa (primer beso de Nanon con un chico en toda su vida), a P’Aof se le olvidó gritar en voz alta “¡corte!” y ellos continuaban besándose porque el beso de la playa también guarda consigo un profundo e intenso significado. Luego de eso se estuvieron preguntando si tenían los labios suaves y cosas así. Ese beso del cap5 en la azotea fué el último grabado, ese día fué el final de grabaciones de la serie, llevaban consigo miles de sentimientos y emociones dentro y fuera de pantalla. P’Aof le dijo a Nanon que besara a Ohm como si hubiese anhelado esto toda su vida y por fin tuviera la oportunidad de hacerlo con todo su ser y así salió esta escena, la cual por cierto se grabó en una toma desde diferentes ángulos. Los chicos se involucraron tanto en sus personajes y estaban tan metidos en esto porque todo se sintió real. Fué una escena fuerte para ambos, colocaron todo de ellos y supieron conectar con la audiencia. No podemos adivinar o asegurar con certeza lo que pasaba por todo su ser en esos momentos pero sí sabemos que sintieron demasiado, Ohm y Nanon tienen historia desde 2018-19 y créanme que hasta en ese beso se refleja. Mis más sinceros respetos para mis chicos y todo el equipo, sus actuaciones fueron un nivel superior, cada que entregan un nuevo proyecto lo hacen mucho mejor y su innegable química, feeling y complicidad no tienen comparación. OhmNanon, gracias por tanto. @@rousvasquez2832 El beso en la playa es el del episodio 11. En orden cronológico de la serie su primer beso es el de la azotea, pero en orden de grabaciones primero se filmó el de la playa, el de la azotea creo que fué el último rodaje de la serie.

i really wanted to see nanon with talented actors like chimon,ohm,gun,khao,first because these people are equally talented to him.. bad buddy was huge hit because of these two only and their acting . in this whole series ohmnanon challenge eachother for perfection i think so

Well, as a viewer, I cried so much. And imagine being in his place, absorbing the character so perfectly and then playing it. It must've been overwhelming. Hats off to these actors. I can't even handle my real life emotions. They live so many different characters... ❤️❤️

I'm not surprised, that movie is so depressing.. I'm sure that actor was the one who played the charecter of LIGHT.. All the rape, prostitution and being left alone that actor had to play is so depressing. I cried the whole movie.. I'm so happy to hear that they are actually dating🖤

Thats it I'm watching this drama again. I love Nanon and Ohm's chemistry that it makes feel so happy and lonely at the same time

This scene was amazing. I feel like only Nanon could portray the complexity of the situation at this moment. It was very challenging since that was the moment, the first moment he let his guard down and let himself love Pat, and at that moment he also failed because he was so convinced he’d love Pat one-sidedly for the rest of his life. But now that Pat returns his feelings, everything else, everything else he tried so hard to maintain, the balance in his life and his family is broken. And Nanon being able to portray that with his eyes, the way he cried, the desperation and the fear in his kiss, was mind blowing. This kid is an amazing actor. Thats what method acting does for you. He was able to manifest all that, but it takes so much toll on him. Praying for all the success for Nanon. So proud of him.

I wonder what/who was he thinking about that made him so sad. 😭

Yeah he would...because his style of acting is method acting. In this style , the actor actually becomes one with the character. This is a very dangerous and tedious thing to get into and get out of and could affect the actor mentally That's why his acting feels very real. He's actually feeling like the character because he has become the character

It could lead to personality disorders and even depresion due to the confusion of not knowing who they are. It's very very dangerous if they don't know how to get out of character that's why i hope nanon isn't planning on taking any dark roles for a while till he learns how get out of character :(

Method acting is scary. Salute to the actors/actress who were very great and giving us their all even though they'll suffer in the end specially that kind os scenes just to give us the fulfilment

This was the last day of shooting. All of the cast was there to take a group photo after the rooftop scene ended. They were waiting & watching behind the scene. The heavy rain didn't stop. The filming was delayed for hours. Everyone was tired. Some scene have to be relocated indoors. They can't afford to re-schedule the filming anymore. All they can do is wait for the rain to stop. It's understandable why Nanon went emotional, even after the scene ended. This will be their last filming for the series, and Nanon also famous for his method acting. Even Drake, who's watching them behind the screen, said he can feel the strong emotion on that heavy scene. They have to shoot another rooftop scene after the kiss and it amaze me how quickly they switch their mood from emotional rollercoaster to playful banter to match the scene.

I didn't watch bad buddy yet but P'Nanon is a really great actor 😭

Yeah that's true but not in this case Here he's crying because he's a method actor. He becomes his character when he's shooting a series It's a dangerous and hard style to own but those who are able to do it , one , deserve respect because they endanger their own well being to act to their best and two , are considered great actors because they can deliver the emotions and mannerisms JUST like the character would
