The 60C has a tighter beam angle which creates some incompatibility issues with the projector and the fresnel. See Andrew Lock for a thorough breakdown. With that said, I own two of them, and for tight indoor lighting situations, these units throw a lot of light for the size, and if you need to match a complex ambient light environment, the app provides an instant corollary tone via your cellphone camera, something that can be very hard to pull off with gels, especially short handed. I wish Nanlite had threaded the power connector, and I still wonder if I will fry a 60c with a static shock one day, the same way I did with my first Forza 60, but at the moment no one else makes an RGBLAC fixture in this size or price category, so I will work around the limitations in order to have the saturated colors and flexibility as part of my kit.

I think the main issue which results in the uneven color (most apparent in CCT mode) with the fresnel and projector, is that the light mixing tunnel and diffuser needs to be a bit more matte/opaque. I think the good performance with the included 45 degree reflector is because it's not only acting like a traditional reflector which increases brightness, but it’s also acting as an extension of the light mixing tunnel which results in good color uniformity. In contrast, the FL-11 fresnel and projector don't have this additional light mixing capability and are collecting, focusing and projecting the light directly from the diffusion disk where you can still see the individual colored LEDs through it and projected onto it. I was going to buy a second one, but I'm waiting to see if/when they fix this problem, but the uniformity with the little included 45 reflector is amazing and has the best shadow performance I've ever seen from a reflector. So for now I'll just use the 60C only with the little 45 degree reflector. It's a bit of a hamstrung one trick pony but it's a hell of a trick!

You said to own 3 at a minimum? What is the sweet spot number of lights i need to own? I ordered 3 should i get 5 or 4 lights? Help!
