Every time I watch this movie or listen to the music I have to cry. Everything about this movie is perfect. When I watched the movie the second or third time I was devastated because I knew that I will never have such a beautiful love story like Taki and Mitsuha. My mom noticed I was feeling bad about it and we watched the movie together. She, too, had to cry. But she said to me that it doesn't matter what kind of love story I will have. All that matters is that I meet the right person, and when I find them, the story doesn't matter either. Your Name is my favorite movie of all time and I still cry every time I watch it. But I'm not crying anymore because I can't have Taki and Mitsuha's love story but because this movie is just wonderful. PS: I am from Germany so excuse my bad english

That's awesome to hear.. like it made me cry to read that because I can relate so much with you! Your name is such a beautiful story and it inspired my entire life and it still does to this day. The music and everything is just so deep in my heart since the first time I watched it and it has some of the most beautiful melodies for me. Since last year it has an even more special meaning to me as it reminds me of someone very special I met who's close to my heart.. our story is similar, we met and impacted each other's lives immediately. When I last saw him, I remembered this movie for some reason.. I remembered the part where Mitsuha screams "What's your name?" to Taki because I literally didn't know his name. Just like these both I felt like we knew each other. We haven't met again since then.. but yk, Taki and Mitsuha also meet again so let's see! I'm sure your love story will be beautiful and unique in its own way and that you'll find the right person too. Your English was perfect btw, I'm from Germany too haha.

Cried a river with this movie. I can still remember the day when I curse anime movie for being too good to be true. They tend to be so good that it breaks your heart. Then, there are also tragic movies that just added up to my hatred with anime movies. I swore to myself that I will never watch anime movies again for it will just hurt my heart.
