Nancy's 2014 Village - a few better pictures
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Nancy Bouc builds the 2014 version of her Department 56 Dickens' Village - I'm still trying to get some better pictures of it.
It is about 300 sq. ft., about 300 houses, several hundred figurines.

Your village is absolutely breath-taking! I have one I have enjoyed for fifty five years that in no way can compare to yours but it gives me pleasure and a certain satisfaction to build it every year. With each passing year (have gone around the sun 75 times at the time of this comment) I tell myself this will be the last time, but in true collector fashion, I take the boxes out of storage and build it again. I must add that the Dickens' Village collection is my favourite too. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely village.
Breathtaking!
I love the village your bride presents. The details in your snap shots are awesome. I have seen anything since 201 from you guys and I have been watching. OK this is the year to village. I subscribed and liked. TFS. See Linsterville too

I've seen your villages.....You do awesome work.
Having roads and town squares makes a big difference. It makes the village look more realistic. I'm going to add some to my (much smaller) Christmas village next year.
These are truly beautiful. Who manufactures these miniature houses? I would like to own some. Thanks.

They are made by Department 56. They have several different "series" of villages, this one is Dickens' Village. It is based on London in about the 1880's. There are several buildings/homes taken from novels by Charles Dickens, e.g. Christmas Carol, Oliver Twist, Nicholas Nickelby, etc..
Is the setup the same exact every year? I’d love to see more videos of what they look like today!

She changes it up every time she puts it together. Least that's what we've been told.
