On the day that Tammy died, a reporter caught George Jones coming out of somewhere. They ask him to comment. He looked out at nowhere and said,” A heart felt, I couldn’t be sadder.” 😢I’m pretty sure she was his one true, true, love. Every man has one.

Not even close to the truth...The woman who was married to him for 30 years just stated in this video that George himself said that he was really only in love with Tammy's singing. Once the new wore off of that then their marriage was over.

yes. Tammy had little kids to put ahead of love though. She also had her demons and George wasn't able to be there for her because of his own demons. That's why she fell into the the clutches of the man she did. There was also several $$ to keep a person around.

Also a few years back ( It was 1996 ) George was doing a show in Wheeling WV on a Sunday afternoon. I arranged to get one of my guitars sent over to your tour bus for George to autograph, and he did!! I was tickled to death. I only wish that I would had been able to thank him. I cherish that guitar to this day God was looking out for George when he joined you two together. May God continue to bless you Nancy!

You’re right his fans will still respect him for conquering his demons and I believe the book will help many people that is battling addiction. It will give them hope. Thank you for posting this wonderful interview w/ Nancy Jones. She & George's Manager (& his wife) came thru our little glass jewlery shop (by Bloomingdale's) in the Dallas Valley View Mall in 1983 & she purchased a set of rings for her & George. We giggled when Green Amer Express said the invoice was too large for that card. Well, she got on the phone & QUICKLY straightened it out & they gave her a Gold Am Express right over the phone. We were so happy for her. The rings were brought back the next day, George said the one for Nancy was "WAY too large for her hand", but we really enjoyed meeting her,.....she was as nice as she could be.

I was married to an alcoholic. I went to Al-Anon. Al-Anon is a branch of alcoholics anonymous. It is for the partner of the alcoholic. Week after week I listened to these partners pat each other in the back. Saying..Oh you’re doing such a good job handling your situation, yes, they give us coping skills . But after several months of this and listening to those people put up with it and put up with it,I decided I’m not putting up with it! I went and got a divorce! That is the best thing I ever did. The rest of you can sit here and pat Nancy on the back, call her a hero ,but I’m not going to. She just kept putting up with it. I don’t think that makes her a hero at all. I’m a Christian woman too. I don’t think God wants us to keep putting up with that kind of crap! 💩 😏 she’s another abused woman, of a alcoholic spouse, who just put up with the crap 💩 😢

I know his children. I talk to them very often. They called George all the time but was never able to talk to him. George and his boys were always close, but in the end, it was all about Nancy's girls and Nancy's grandchildren. I know the truth of the matter, and his children do too. I cant believe it had been 17 years that Jeffrey had not seen his dad at the time of George's death. Jeffrey and his wife Sue just lost their son, it was hard enough for them to lose George, but now their son. They did not hear a word from Nancy. That was George's grandson. The only one named after George. As George always said, " THE TRUTH SHALL PREVAIL", and it will. George and Linda Welborn were married as soon as George and Tammy's divorce became final. Linda's got a book coming out real soon. The title of her book is, " I AM WHO I AM" ( The fourth wife of George Jones ). If you want to know the truth, read this book. She has legal documents in h er book that proves what she has written Is the truth. It tells where, how, and when George and Nancy met. It certainly was not Rodchester, New York. She knows, she was married to George. This book unravels a lot of unanswered questions. It is so truthful that it's actually unbelievable. That's why she provided documents, pictures, and other things that pro e her words to be the truth. Pray for Jeffrey and Susan.

God bless you Nancy you are a wonderful woman and you did just what you were supposed to do for George Jones. I had loved him from a little girl . In the 2nd grade at Christmas time I wanted a record player for Christmas and I got 2 albums with it and George Jones was one of those and to this day I still have it and I'm 65 now wouldn't take nothing for ,who kns it maybe worth something and I had the honors of seeing him in concert and you were there too. R.I.P. possum 🕊❤

Nancy I never " wanted" George to be with Tammy , I just wanted him to be Sober and Happy.. I know he was Happy with you and I Thank God for that ! You sold Me a Tshirt , cap, and an armload of other stuff in Seattle! I knew you were super busy but I wish I had asked you to take a picture with me! God bless You Mrs. Jones :)

I never watch stuff like this. Watched every minute of this video. Getting ready to order the book. Great stories about George and yourself Nancy. I loved CCR also! I too died due to heart failure and came back. Twice. I have a friend that died from a stroke and came back also. Maybe we should write another book with our stories.

Nancy, if it hadn't been for you, George wouldn't have been alive for the last 30 years of his life. Thanks to you, Nancy, for giving us the many years of wonderful music and magic that was George Jones. You are a hero!
