So I saved this in my "watch later" forever and a day ago. And it got lost in a mix of other videos that have been sitting in there for some time. But I didn't want to watch this until I saw series (which also feels like forever and a day ago at this point). So what a lovely little surprise to stumble upon today. This is a beautiful tribute to them. The song is so haunting (downloading the second I'm done writing this). You captured both of the separate and combined struggles so well. I really just love how you pieced it all together. All with subtle little audio bits (I honestly hate when they overpower the song - but yours are honestly just perfect). The use of movement and the swell of the music is stunning. I really wouldn't expect anything less from you. Can't wait to see what you come up with for season 2! :)

gaby, you're always the nicest to me while i feel so "small" in comparison to who you are to me, editing wise: an inspiration and someone i have always admired from afar and, now, a bit closer. you edit like nobody else, truly. this video had such an energy, a fire within it, it's haunting but quietly. it's different from any other j/n video i've watched so far. you portrayed these two not only in relation to one another but as proper characters with their ghosts and their own share of /hiding/ like with nancy "behind the smoke and the screen" at the beginning. the fact she still ended up being the "ghost in the machine, flickering" at the end - despite all they had been through together - gives this such a bittersweet taste I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS (seriously tho, s2 fix this).

Gaby this is STUNNING. honestly this song is so perfect for them and i've never heard it before but you just matched every lyric and took my breath away. I adore how you showed Nancy's search for Barb and Jonathan's search for Will and how that brought them together and facilitated their bonding, just the most perfect encompassing of their relationship. As always, your editing was flawless babe

OMGGGG GABY THIS IS SO GOOD HOW DARE YOU. I LOVE that you showed not only their relationships but also a bit of their individual stories. That bit with Nancy at the party and Barb and when the song cuts to "hiding" and Nancy goes up to Steve's room and leaves Barb - I AM SPEECHLESS. The atmosphere of this vid is just soooo good and your subtle editing makes it even more perfect 😍 THANK YOU FOR THIS

GABYYYYYYY!!! This is so so SO wonderful, the way you edited with the use of internal movement to the beats is AMAZING and i was just transfixed the entire way. As everyone else has commented, I LOVE that you didn't focus just on them but also on their individual stories cut in between gradually leading to them at the end working together against the monster (which was edited so well with the faster built up part of the song!) This is beautiful and simple (a GOOD thing) and amazing and I hope we'll see more from you for this show!

wow! i saw this vid vaguely a few weeks ago, after yasmin used this song for a vid, and i thought it was good, but i wasn't watching the show back then. i just did, because of vale, yas, hannah, everyone really, so i'm back here and i'm dying!!! this is so fucking perfect!!!! the intensity, the subtility of their relationship is perfectly shown here!! i just love this so fucking much!!!! it's flawless, and delicate and so bloody deep, i can't even...!!!!

When I saw the title of the vid I was like omg did you use this song???coz it's one of my fav ones which is rarely vidded! Also the way you made it fit perfectly with this ship..I mean you not only focused on just the two of them..but also their friends and family..and that makes this vid diff from the rest...!! Just seriously....fantastic work with this vid and interpretation of the lyrics...it's truly unique !
