Me too! The fact that they are both kind of jealous that they are potentially dating anyone that isn't them showed alot. But dammit date already! I don't like Gil personally and it's not just cause he is in the way of my ship cause his sister seems alright albeit a tad boring so far (mom's story is interesting tho. I'm beginning to think mom's are cursed in Nancy Drew. Lucy, Katherine, George's mom - being a drunk due to the ghosts - haven't really seen Ace's mom yet and Nick's mom seemed good but the list is getting long with cursed mom's ) sorry for the rambling 😆

@@danniellekirsty3138 haha no problem! Ur so right! I feel like the mom's are cursed. And maybe we will get to know more about Ace's mom this season since he has a half brother. But yeah Gil isnt bad its just I dont see a fit w him and Nancy. Nor do I see a fit w Gil's sister and Ace. They seem better as friends. Honestly Nancy's feelings for Gil came out of nowhere and I only saw Ace having googly eyes for the sister. She didn't really seem that interested in him at the start. Now I didnt really feel anything between Nancy and Ace until the end of the 1st season but thats cuz we were just getting to know the characters and they are making their relationship slow. Not until they started to show us their friendship did i start to ship them. When I 1st saw Ace I was like he seems like a guy who doesn't try that much and has no education and looks like a hippie. Doesnt look like Nancy's style. She's more into guys who are confident and smart and can help her. And I slowly I started to see that when I moved past his looks and we got to see his character more. Like he is really smart and comes from a good family. He is caring and his looks needs styling lol but everyone just seems like they have had some bad luck in their life that changed the course of their life.

@@vanessajabbour4659 @Vanessa Jabbour I do really love that in the show the parents aren't entirely oblivious like riverdale for example XD I'm very interested in Ace's family, I love his dad too and thier relationship. And I agree with your thoughts about when Ace was first introduced, I mean I was immediately attracted to him lol but I thought he was airheaded. His friendship with Bess was one of the first things that won me over. And it's just obvious how much he cared for nancy from the start. Where gil is concerned I don't hate him but I can't get over the fact that he would've killed George without a second thought really. I feel like Nancy had more chemistry with Nick than she does Gil, however George and Nick just have tons more chemistry than Nancy/Nick. Plus Nancy and Ace are endgame for me as are Nick and George.

And we saw more chemistry between George and Nick cuz we were able to see their relationship blossom from strangers to friends to partners in life and business but w Nancy, we just see her from the start w him as a fling and she was never truly open w him.
