MrParkerman6 Yes but there’s a fine line there. If you’re too harsh the other person may completely give up something they genuinely enjoy doing, especially if they’re young and impressionable. Imagine if you put a lot of time and effort into learning something new only to have the person you admired tell you that what you’ve accomplished isn’t good enough. I personally think her comments were just about right. While I agree with you on some level ( there were a few people that I think she was too nice to) I think the fact that she gave them pointers on how to do better was really great! She seems like she’d be an excellent voice acting coach.

Wow! she's speaks so eloquently and descriptive. Watching her hold the voice so consistently, I never realized that aspect and its importance, as well as the brilliance of showcasing Bart's voice while descending & then ascending through several ages of Bart. What a talent! Thank you Nancy for also positive vibes and inspiring so many people, as yourself and as Bart.

I love how she doesn’t even pretend the Bart impressionists got it right 😂😂 She’s baller. Met her once at a table read and asked her to do a Nelson Muntz impression at me. I’ll treasure that moment forever!!

Your an inspiration to me, I’m a voice actor to a small KZread animation.

Nancy’s regular speaking voice sounds so much like Bart. It’s her accent, and light rasp in her throat that can’t be copied. She’s such a legend. She’s right about guys not being able to do the voices correctly, it has to do with anatomy. Dudes voices are too deep and it sounds forced when they try to speak n a higher register.

The fact that nobody really nailed a voice shows how unique Nancy’s actual speaking voice is.

She’s not only the voice she’s part of the shows spirit...the soft side of Bart meant a lot to me in the Simpsons

She is insanely talented. I do voices myself and can imitate a lot of people but she is on another level. She has such a unique speaking voice in the first place, it's very hard to imitate.

She's incredibly talented. I think her normal voice is getting closer and closer to Barts over the years!

8:24 Did anyone else notice she laughs like Bart or is it just me? I know she played him and she's done it for 33 seasons but I didn't know she still laughs like that. I think it's pretty cool.
