You being the trully MVP for my Organic Chemistry specially during this pandemic. I had learned more with you then my own prof. Thank you
I'm in love with this guy's intellect and voice. Too darn attractive
If I have a wealthy, successful career in the chemistry field I will find you and donate to you the money you deserve. Thank you. These are my intentions.- AFS

@@natte431 I'm not working yet but I finished my BS in chemistry. I'm now working on an MS in chemical engineering and deciding whether to pursue PhD or enter industry with my MS. I will be done a year from December if I choose the latter. Thank you for reminding me.

Please, I have a question. Can I name the Benzoic acid also as "Phenylmethanoic acid". That is, taking the phenyl as a substituent on the carbonyl carbon. Thank you.
Hello I want some methanoic acid , hold the anoic acid.
At 4:34 when you name this compound, do you put a dash between oxo and heptanoic acid? (4-amino-6-methoxy-5-oxo-heptanoic acid?)
@litojonny

no for the final word you can just attach it without the "-" pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/5-Amino-6-hydroxy-4-oxohexanoic-acid
Thank you once again.
Seemingly you know every subject matter. How can I be like you?
Thankyou sir ❤
Thank you so much:)
Bro u are the best Thanks alot
THANKYOU OC🌼🥰
10:11 Shouldn't it be 1,5-pentanedioic acid instead??

No, just indicate directly the number of the substituent
I was here OPD2018/2019 Luis Gjoç ta bona mock😂
At 6:30 why cyclohexane carboxylic acid? Why not simply cyclohexanoic acid? @The Organic Chemistry Tutor
@ainsyazwani9778

because it is special case.. the chain numbering cant include the carbon of COOH, so suffix "carboxylic acid" is used.
@jenlamar2833

because it's not a benzene ring (double bonds in the ring)
Why not 3-methycyclohexanoic acid?
Where are you live sir please teach me
You the bomb bro
in 9:30 could you say E instead of trans?

Of course
Thanks
Almost 8 mil lets gooo subscribe guys
8:19 why don't we count the carbon in the ring then we could get a longer carbon chain????

i think i figure it out by myself... if use my way do name the molecule it cannot evince there s a ring in the molecule...am i right?
What a god.
Please avoid that blue pen🙏
