Landscapes unparalleled anywhere else. Aim you camera in any direction, and you will have a good picture. I can’t wait to get back there!

Build swales along the dry river beds and when it rains, it will slow down the flow of the water, and replenish the aquifers. That's all I can think of when watching this video, still a beautiful sight

That river flows into the dessert and then disappear into the sand. It flows maybe twice a decade. Why can you not appreciate the beauty of the wilderness?

Makes me homesick . So beautiful and peaceful , colourful too with all shades of each one. During the dry season I would carry a wet towel and the wild bees would follow the moisture trail in the air from downwind and suck up any moisture they could to replenish themselves as well as cool down their nests. During dry season its incredibly desolate. Nice one Goldschakal.

I visited Namibia with my Dad when I was a teenager and I've never been back even though Iv'e always wanted to. This has made me really regret leaving Africa.

So beautiful, there's no need to search another planet for us to live, a place like this in the other side of the world is spectacular, need to plant trees and save this dry land and we will continue to live

This video tapped so many emotions, from awe at the landscape to sympathy for the giraffes and all the animals born into a harsh life of struggle, to relief for the beetle on his lily, getting some needed moisture. A very satisfying four and a half minutes.

The best video yet after the rains! Most beautiful country on earth. Somehow the green with red dunes seems odd hey? Heaven. Excellent video, thank you

About two years ago, something like this happened to us. In Saudi Arabia, our lands are deserts, but in that year a strong rain came and we became as if we were in Europe. Of the many shrubs that grew 🇸🇦

Namibia is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Great video BTW.

2:49 - The flowering amaryllis bulbs surrounded by water were a real surprise. This demonstrates why, when some of these are grown by gardeners, they have to be put through an imposed period of drought by not being watered, in order to bloom. That's their natural environment.

The rain is making it even more desert like. Look at the rivers/water flows, its all brown. That is valuable topsoil being washed away. Essential building blocks for life just being flushed away dowsntream.
