It reminded me of the description in the first episode of Monster, describing Johan as the "Beast" from the book of revelations in the "Bible", as well as him being shot and surviving the shot, also alluding that the "Beast" would be hit in the head and then survive, which is "cool" that Johan is not a Makima, Tomie or Damien Thorn who has supernatural powers and because of that he can manipulate whoever he wants because of his powers, Johan is just a human and a human in its purest essence, only such a human "Beast" could act and be the predator of its own species... Johan reminds me of that saying: "man is man's wolf".
