That was my family's car growing up, you're doing amazing work restoring it for my brother in law. We always called it "the Burb" for a name.

I was “jonesing” for another suburban Cummins swap video, 😂. Looking good. Shipping mine to you this week. Hopefully my suburban will get a video series? Can’t wait to hear that Cummins sound in my driveway….

Got a 1998 K2500 suburban with the 5.7, she could use this operation!

If there was a big aftermarket for these swaps alot of 6.5 guys would probably do these more often

Also what converter did you go with? I have a similar build but it’s a k3500 dually

Is swapping to the diesel fuel tank pick up a plug and play conversion or does it require some customization?

My 4l80 torque converter cover doesn't fit back on with the flexplate bolts that I used. Have you had that problem, Joel?

Would a 1999 k1500 suburban with 6.5TD be a good candidate for a cummins swap? Its factory 8 lug and has the upgraded suspension and weight ratings that came with the 6.5. Truck is super clean and just needs a complete refresh to be perfect. Its my wifes daily driver and she loves her truck!

K1500 trucks are not great but if yours was a 6.5L Diesel then it would be a good candidate. It is best to start with a diesel truck.

How much was the total cost? I have a 94 as well and want to swap it
